Learning materials to support students in approaching new exam structures

From 2025, the high school graduation exam will be applied according to the 2018 General Education Program. To help students get familiar with the exam structure and practice test-taking skills, the Vietnam Education Publishing House has compiled a set of high school graduation exam review questions, including all subjects, by a team of experienced authors.

The high school graduation exam is an important milestone for every student, not only because it is a condition for completing the general education program but also a stepping stone for the learning and career orientation stage. In the context of the new general education program being applied to grade 12 from the 2024-2025 school year, the exam structure has also changed a lot compared to before. Therefore, it is extremely necessary for students to have suitable learning materials to get familiar with the exam format, practice and consolidate knowledge.

The set of questions covers all subjects.

The book series of High School Graduation Exam Review Questions compiled and published by Northern Educational Equipment and Books Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Education Publishing House) has content that closely follows the exam setting orientation of the Ministry of Education and Training , referring to the latest exam structure issued under Decision No. 764/QD-BGDDT dated March 8, 2024 and officially announced reference exam questions.

Each book is compiled by experienced lecturers and teachers, consisting of two parts: practice questions and suggested answers. Students can directly do the questions in part one to test their abilities, then compare with the answers and detailed explanations in part two to self-evaluate, gain experience and consolidate knowledge.

The remarkable point is that the book series covers all the subjects of the new curriculum. Basic subjects such as Mathematics, Literature, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography all have their own sets of questions. In addition, new subjects introduced into the curriculum such as Economic and Legal Education, Technology (industrial orientation, agricultural orientation) and Information Technology are also fully compiled. Thanks to that, students in different groups have a synchronized source of reference materials.

The set of questions helps students feel more confident when taking important exams.

In addition to helping students get familiar with the test structure, the book also supports practicing test-taking strategies. By practicing many tests, students will form the habit of allocating time reasonably and knowing how to choose questions to optimize their scores.

Comparing with the detailed answer key also helps students understand how to argue and present their answers in a complete and scientific way. This is an important factor because many students not only have difficulty with knowledge, but also do not have the skills to express themselves properly in the limited time of the test.

In the context of many changes in the exam, the High School Graduation Exam Review Set plays the role of a "companion" with students during the final review period. This material does not replace the role of teachers or textbooks, but provides a practice environment close to the actual exam, helping students reduce confusion and gain more confidence when entering the most important exam after 12 years of studying hard.
