If you pay for the entire year or have multiple children enrolled, you usually get a 5-10% discount. If you pay by term or quarter, the total tuition can increase by the same percentage.

In addition to tuition fees, many schools have separate regulations for deposits, registration fees or admission fees. This fee is commonly 20-50 million VND, with BIS and BVIS both having fees of over 70 million VND.

Other expenses that parents have to pay include uniforms, meals, facilities, and shuttle buses, ranging from 10-40 million VND per item, depending on the school.

Hanoi currently has 2.3 million preschool and primary school students, the largest in the country. According to the Departmentof Education and Training, 40 foreign-invested schools have more than 10,500 students.

ISC Research , a source of data on schools around the world , reports that the growth rate of the number of international schools in Vietnam is about 5%, among the top 5 in the world. One of the reasons is the growing middle class (spending 11-110 USD per day).
