Hanoi currently has 2.3 million preschool and primary school students, the largest in the country. According to the Department of Education and Training, 40 foreign-invested schools have more than 10,500 students.
ISC Research , a source of data on schools around the world , reports that the growth rate of the number of international schools in Vietnam is about 5%, among the top 5 in the world. One of the reasons is the growing middle class (spending 11-110 USD per day).
