A new perspective
To welcome the students, staff from Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company took souvenir photos with them on their first visit to the factory.
Through this introduction, students learn about the components of instant noodles, the main ingredient being wheat flour, the yellow color being a blend of turmeric powder, and can distinguish between fried noodles (fried in palm oil) and non-fried noodles (air-dried).
The key is that when the noodles are fried in palm oil, the heat of the oil comes from steam, thereby controlling the temperature and oxidation in the oil. Additionally, the quantity of dried vegetable packets and oil packets depends on the weight of the noodle pack. The oil packet, in particular, gives the noodles their distinctive flavor.
Every ingredient used in the production of instant noodles undergoes quality control. And to maintain nutritional balance when enjoying instant noodles, consumers should also eat vegetables, shrimp, and meat.
Student Duong Tran Nhat Minh (12A7 class) said he was delighted and very surprised to visit the modern factory, and the staff gave him a very warm welcome.
"Previously, I also thought instant noodles were harmful to health, but after visiting and learning more information, I realized that the product is safe and good."
"This is my first time going on a field trip, which has broadened my knowledge and shown me the scale of the factory. In addition, it has helped me increase my understanding and provide more information to include in my assignments. Most of my class chose fields related to health, technology, and food. Going on this field trip has given us additional knowledge to support our future studies," said Nhat Minh.
Nguyen Hong Bao Ngoc (a student in class 10A1) shared: "My understanding has changed after visiting the factory; I learned that instant noodles are not harmful."
"I learned that the company is from Japan and has a long history. I was very excited to participate in answering questions and receiving gifts, and to enjoy the noodles... Through this, I became more confident in raising my hand to speak, interacting with the presenter, and socializing with my friends."

Giving you lots of knowledge
Mr. Nguyen Tri Thuan, a teacher at Ernst Thälmann High School in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, said that 37 students came to visit, evenly distributed across different grade levels.
"The students were very happy and excited when they came here to visit the factory. The trip provided them with a lot of valuable knowledge, helping them to speak confidently in front of crowds and become more self-assured."
"Through this, we also provide career guidance for the students, not only for working in the factory but also in product introduction and promotion... which will certainly give them career choices in the future. I am also very happy and surprised to be here, a professional and magnificent headquarters. I hope there will be more similar trips for the students," Mr. Thuan shared.
Nguyen Trinh Nhac Tran (a student in class 10A6) shared: "I feel lucky and honored to be here. I learned that instant noodles are not dangerous and are produced in large quantities."
The field trip allowed me to experience social activities, learn new knowledge, and share it with others. Through the trip, I met some seniors from school, which helped me gain confidence in communication and expand my network, and I also learned how to observe things better."
