Press briefing conference, May 2026

On the morning of June 2nd, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Department of Culture and Sports, and the Provincial Journalists Association jointly organized a press briefing for May 2026 and outlined propaganda directions for June 2026. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Phuong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, chaired the meeting.

Attending the conference were leaders from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Department of Culture and Sports , Ninh Binh Newspaper and Radio and Television, and representatives from central press agencies based in the province.

In May , provincial press agencies, representative offices, and resident reporters of central press agencies in Ninh Binh closely followed the province's propaganda guidelines; their activities ensured compliance with the principles, objectives, and legal regulations.

Central and provincial newspapers have comprehensively reflected on the political , economic, cultural, social, security, and defense aspects of the locality.

Specifically, the press agencies promptly reported on the activities of Party and State leaders, and provincial leaders; reflected outstanding results in the operation of the two-tiered local government, the efforts of all levels, sectors, localities, and units in the implementation process; and the work of Party and government building. They publicized the awarding of Party badges by commune and ward Party committees on May 19th; the implementation of resolutions of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; and devoted significant time to reflecting on activities commemorating the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026). They also publicized and reflected on the leadership and direction, and the socio-economic development of the province in the fields of industry, agriculture, services, trade, tourism, education, health, and social welfare work.

During the conference, media agencies highly appreciated Ninh Binh province's coordination, guidance in propaganda, and provision of information to the press, especially when organizing major events in the province.

The head of the Department of Culture and Sports delivered a speech at the conference.

The relevant authorities have also assessed that the information reflected by the press in May 2026 showed many innovations in both content and form, closely following the implementation of the province's political tasks, making an important contribution to guiding public opinion and promoting socio-economic development in the province.

Speaking at the June 2026 propaganda orientation meeting, Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Phuong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, emphasized: During June, media agencies should focus on disseminating the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the resolutions, regulations, and conclusions of the Second Plenum of the 14th Central Committee; the action programs implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, and the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; and the thematic resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. At the same time , they should promptly reflect the implementation process of specific action programs, plans, and tasks; clarify initial results, positive developments, good models, innovative and effective approaches; and promptly commend outstanding collectives and individuals, especially leaders who have been proactive, pioneering, and decisive in organizing and implementing tasks .

Disseminate information about the content, proceedings, and results of the mid-year regular session of the Provincial People's Council, 16th term, 2026-2031 (expected to take place from June 22nd to June 30th, 2026); highlight the outstanding results after one year of operation of the two-tiered local government system in the province; clarifying the achievements, advantages, shortcomings, limitations, difficulties, obstacles, and their causes…

The Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department also requested that media agencies: Intensify propaganda on the implementation of the reorganization of villages and residential areas, creating high unity in thought and action throughout the Party, the political system, and the consensus of the people.

Disseminate information about the 14th National Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026-2031; the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, term 2026-2031; and the 14th National Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union, term 2026-2031; focusing on reflecting the developments, results, and new contents of the Congresses.

Disseminating information on key solutions to successfully achieve socio-economic development goals; the progress of key projects and works; and the preparation and organization of the 2026 High School Graduation Examination and the enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year.

Promoting social security and improving people's lives, with a focus on new policies regarding the basic salary, bonus schemes, pension adjustments, social insurance benefits, and monthly allowances; organizing regular health check-ups and free screenings for the people.

Disseminating information on ensuring political security and social order; traffic safety; fire prevention and control; proactive prevention and control of epidemics and natural disasters; and preventing drowning among children during the summer.
