Scientific seminar "Comrade Luong Van Tri with the Vietnamese revolution and his homeland Lang Son"

- On the occasion of the 115th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Luong Van Tri (August 17, 1910 - August 17, 2025), on the morning of August 16, in Lang Son province, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics , the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, and Lang Son Provincial Party Committee jointly organized a scientific seminar "Comrade Luong Van Tri with the Vietnamese revolution and his homeland Lang Son"

Comrades: Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Huynh Thanh Dat, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Hoang Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lang Son province and Professor, Dr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics co-chaired the workshop.

Attending the workshop were comrades: Doan Thi Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and mass organizations of the province; Standing Party Committees of some communes and wards and relatives of comrade Luong Van Tri; scientists , researchers; leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, representatives of leaders of political schools of some provinces.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council delivered the opening speech and introduced the workshop.

In his opening speech and introduction to the workshop, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council affirmed: Comrade Luong Van Tri is one of the first generation of party members of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He made great contributions to the work of propaganda, education, gathering and building, and organizing the contingent of party members and cadres in the province, laying the foundation for the strong development of the Lang Son revolutionary movement, contributing to the construction and consolidation of the Bac Son - Vo Nhai base, the premise for the formation of the Viet Bac liberated zone later.

He emphasized: The workshop was held in the context that the entire Party, people and army are actively completing the targets and tasks of the 13th Party Congress, actively preparing for congresses at all levels towards the 14th Party Congress. This is an opportunity to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions and contributions of the exemplary senior leaders of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution in general and comrade Luong Van Tri in particular.

Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation delivered a welcome speech at the workshop.

Speaking at the workshop, Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, stated: During his revolutionary career, Comrade Luong Van Tri made many positive contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation and his homeland Lang Son. Promoting the patriotic and revolutionary traditions of his homeland, following in the footsteps of Comrade Luong Van Tri, the army and people of Lang Son have fought and served the whole country for independence, freedom and territorial integrity, and joined hands to build the country. During the 2020-2025 term, the province has achieved many important results in all fields, which is a premise for the Party Committee, government and people in the province to continue to firmly step on the path of innovation, striving to build Lang Son for sustainable development, and together with the whole country, entering a new era, an era of national development.

The Provincial Museum's tour guide introduced to the delegates images, documents and artifacts related to the life and revolutionary career of comrade Luong Van Tri.

The conference organizing committee received more than 40 presentations from professors, doctors, experts, scientists, researchers, leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of some provincial Party Committees, leaders of political schools of some provinces. At the conference, delegates listened to 10 presentations, including 3 presentations from Lang Son province, including presentations from the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, relatives of comrade Luong Van Tri and presentations from representatives of Lang Son youth.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Dat, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, spoke at the workshop.

Through the workshop, we continue to affirm the important contributions and dedication of comrade Luong Van Tri to the revolutionary struggle of the nation; strengthen propaganda and education, arouse pride, the spirit of learning and following the example of the steadfast communist soldier, the typical senior leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution. Thereby creating motivation to promote the successful implementation of the goals and targets of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; prepare for the successful organization of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
