To prepare for the entrance exam to be held in early June, the planning of exam locations is being carried out in a way that maximizes convenience for students, especially in areas far from the city center, border areas, and areas with specific characteristics.
Ho Chi Minh City continues to maintain a number of small-scale examination centers in areas far from the city center to reduce travel pressure and create favorable conditions for students.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has planned 242 examination centers for the 10th grade entrance exam in the 2026-2027 school year, including 226 regular centers and 16 specialized centers, with a total of 6,443 examination rooms. Each examination center is equipped with at least 3 reserve rooms to handle any unforeseen situations.
It is expected that approximately 17,742 officials and teachers will be mobilized to serve as invigilators and support staff, along with security personnel, police, medical staff , electricity company personnel, and technicians, to ensure the exam takes place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
After the exam registration and nguyện vọng (preference) adjustments are completed, the Department will continue to review and update the enrollment data, and adjust the plan for exam locations, exam rooms, and personnel to suit the actual data.
According to the planned schedule, the exam paper preparation and printing will take place from May 24th to June 2nd. The grading process will be held from June 4th to June 9th. The review of exam papers is expected to take place at the end of June.
