On May 6.5, the University of Agriculture and Forestry (Hue University) held a job festival in 2023. This is the 10th time in a row that this unit has organized a recruitment event, providing job opportunities for students who have just graduated from agriculture, forestry and fishery.
The festival has attracted more than 37 businesses across the country, with the recruitment demand for up to 2.700 job positions, of which 5 businesses recruit with an unlimited number.
From early in the morning, the yard of Nong Lam University (Hue University) began to bustle when a large number of students came to wait for recruitment registration. Having just completed the interview, Le Anh Thu (who has just graduated from veterinary medicine) expressed her joy at being recruited into her favorite business.
Anh Thu shared: “Every year the school organizes a job fair, so right from when I was at school, I cherished to apply for CP Livestock Company. Today, I prepared everything quite well, ready for an interview, and fortunately was chosen by the employer to work in the South."
This year, the number of graduates from the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry (Hue University) is 1.000, while the recruitment demand of enterprises is more than 2.700 positions. Thus, on average, each fresh graduate has 2,7 job opportunities. This shows that the demand for human resources in the field of agriculture, forestry and fishery is very large.
According to Assoc. Prof-Dr. Tran Thanh Duc, Rector of Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (Hue University), with the educational philosophy of "Comprehensive development - Linking to the labor market - International integration", besides constantly improving the quality of training and enrollment, the school is always interested in jobs for students after graduation.
Through activities such as job fairs, the school continues to affirm its brand as a place to train and provide high-quality human resources, advanced and effective scientific-technological products, contributing to promoting agricultural and rural development nationwide, Mr. Duc said.
In addition, job fairs help students better orientate their careers and make appropriate choices for future jobs.
