BTO - On the afternoon of September 30th, over 200 martial arts students from 3 Taekwondo clubs participated in the Q3 2023 promotion exam.
This is an important event to assess the skill level and progress of Taekwondo practitioners. Over 200 practitioners will compete in basic hand forms, basic foot forms, mandatory forms, sparring, stance analysis, and physical fitness tests.
The promotion exam is held every three months at Le Loi Secondary and High School (Phan Thiet City), for all martial arts students in the Phan Thiet club. This year's exam includes participation from HTV Club, Le Loi Club, and Phan Thiet Club. Students must meet the technical, knowledge, and physical fitness requirements corresponding to their chosen belt level. The exam will include tests of technique, training, and physical fitness appropriate to each belt level. Students participating in the exam must wear official Taekwondo belt uniforms and adhere to the Taekwondo dress code regulations.
Tekwondo will soon be included as a competitive sport in the provincial-level Phu Dong Sports Festival.
