More than 3,000 athletes compete in the "Phan Thiet Marathon - Green Journey"

BT0 - On the afternoon of November 16, the Organizing Committee of the 2nd "Phan Thiet Marathon - Green Journey" 2024 held the opening ceremony of the 2nd "Phan Thiet Marathon - Green Journey" 2024.

Mr. Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan - Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee attended the opening ceremony of the tournament.

The 2nd Phan Thiet Marathon – Green Journey has attracted the participation of more than 3,000 athletes nationwide . The tournament officially started on the morning of November 17, with 5 distances of 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, 30 km and 42 km. The race route will stretch along Lac Long Quan Street, TL 719, DT 719B, and internal roads of the Novaworld Phan Thiet project.…

Mr. Nguyen Nam Long - Vice Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee awarded prizes to young athletes in the Kids Run event held on the afternoon of November 16.

  This event is not only to train and spread the noble sports spirit, a symbol of resilience, strong will and perseverance, but also an opportunity to promote the image of tourism, culture and people of Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan , contributing to the socio-economic development and tourism of the province.

Athletes register and complete procedures

Along with this year's season, the Organizing Committee has also   The Kids Run award ceremony gathered more than 200 young athletes to participate and compete in the afternoon before the opening ceremony in 2 distances of 600m and 1.2km (male and female). This is an activity to stimulate the spirit of love for sports , inspire young people with physical training, especially Marathon for children.
