Over 3000 athletes competed in the “Phan Thiet Marathon – Green Journey”

BT0 - On the afternoon of November 16th, the Organizing Committee of the 2nd "Phan Thiet Marathon - Green Journey" in 2024 held the opening ceremony of the 2nd "Phan Thiet Marathon - Green Journey" in 2024.

Mr. Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City, attended the opening ceremony of the tournament.

The second "Phan Thiet Marathon – Green Journey" attracted over 3,000 athletes from across the country. The race officially kicked off on the morning of November 17th, featuring five distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, 30 km, and 42 km. The race route will stretch along Lac Long Quan Street, Provincial Road 719, Provincial Road 719B, and internal roads within the Novaworld Phan Thiet project…

Mr. Nguyen Nam Long - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City, presented awards to the young athletes in the Kids Run event held on the afternoon of November 16th.

  This event is not only for training and spreading the spirit of noble sportsmanship, a symbol of resilience, unwavering will, and perseverance, but also an opportunity to promote the image of tourism, culture, and people of Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan , contributing to the socio-economic and tourism development of the province.

Alongside this year's season, the organizing committee has also   The Kids Run awards ceremony brought together over 200 young athletes who competed in the afternoon before the opening ceremony in two distances: 600m and 1.2km (boys and girls). This activity aims to inspire a love of sports and encourage young people to participate in physical training, especially marathon running for children.
