The ancient town of Hoa Lu attracted a large number of tourists during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon.

On February 15th, the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism reported that during the 7-day period (from the 29th of the lunar month to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), the province welcomed 596,000 visitors (including over 115,000 international tourists), a 50.1% increase compared to the 2023 Lunar New Year holiday. Total revenue during the 7-day holiday was estimated at over 850 billion VND.

According to the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, during this year's Tet holiday, despite the large number of tourists visiting the province, there were no incidents of overcrowding, harassment of tourists, or begging for money at tourist attractions.
