On the morning of November 27, comrade Nguyen Thanh Ha - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting on socio-economic indicators and data for 2025. Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

According to the report, in November, the results of implementing targets of most socio -economic sectors decreased compared to the previous month. The index of industrial production (IIP) decreased by 9.98%, mainly due to the output of Van Phong BOT Power Company Limited decreasing by 55.56%; total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at VND 15,663 billion, down 4.59%; revenue from transportation, warehousing and transportation support services is estimated at VND 1,100 billion, down 9.18%; tourism revenue is estimated at VND 2,900 billion, down 14.99%.

According to the Provincial Statistics Office, the possibility of completing the GRDP growth target of 8.1% in 2025 is very difficult. The main reason is that prolonged rain and floods in November caused flooding in many areas, causing severe damage to agricultural production, trade - tourism... Besides, the progress of disbursement of public investment capital is still slow.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments and branches to strengthen direction, resolutely implement solutions, and strive to achieve the highest socio-economic targets in 2025. The Provincial Statistics Office proactively coordinated with departments and branches to unify the data collection process, especially data on aquaculture, tourism , etc., and complete the report on socio-economic targets in 2025 on November 29 to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Ha requested departments and branches to urge and accelerate public investment disbursement; support businesses to restore production after floods; promote production, export and stimulate year-end consumption; and closely monitor business operations to promptly remove difficulties, etc., striving to achieve the highest possible GRDP growth rate in 2025.
