Instructions for stopping and parking in Nha Trang City during the April 30th and May 1st holidays.

The Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Public Security has just issued a notice guiding vehicle stopping and parking on the roads in Nha Trang City during the April 30th and May 1st holidays.

Accordingly, anticipating a high volume of people and vehicles during the 5-day holiday, the Traffic Police Department advises drivers to only stop and park close to the right-hand curb or sidewalk in the direction of travel; the nearest wheel should not be more than 25cm from the curb; and should not obstruct traffic. In case of a vehicle breakdown or forced parking in a prohibited area, drivers must turn on emergency lights or place warning signs behind the vehicle.

A car illegally parked on Ly Tu Trong Street was impounded and processed by traffic police.

Drivers are prohibited from stopping or parking in the following locations: on the left side of a one-way street; on curves, near the top of slopes with obstructed visibility; on bridges, under bridges (except where permitted); parallel to and in the same direction as a stopped or parked vehicle; less than 20 meters from a parked vehicle in the opposite direction on narrow streets, or less than 40 meters on single-lane roads in one direction; pedestrian walkways; intersections (within 5 meters); passenger pick-up and drop-off points; in front of agency entrances (within 5 meters); narrow roads with only one lane; railway safety zones; areas obstructing traffic signs and signals; dedicated bus lanes; manholes, technical tunnels, and fire hydrants.

The Traffic Police Department advises residents and tourists to limit the use of private vehicles during peak hours, prioritizing public transport, buses, electric taxis, or walking when sightseeing in the city center.

Currently, Nha Trang City has temporarily allocated 6 parking lots at the following locations: the old Gas Station No. 4 (23rd October Street, next to Long Son Pagoda); the old Ana Mandara Resort (Tran Phu Street, accepting vehicles with 16 seats or less); the Nha Trang Sao Project site (Pham Van Dong Street); No. 120 Dien Bien Phu Street (old Quyet Thang Bus Station); No. 170 Le Hong Phong Street; and the old Cat Phu Company site (Nguyen Tat Thanh Boulevard).
