Fragrance of Ca Mau

On the morning of April 30, within the framework of the 5th Southern Folk Cake Festival in Ca Mau City in 2025, the Folk Cake Competition with the theme "Fragrance and Color of Ca Mau" took place, aiming to honor the traditional flavor of folk cakes in social life.

The contest attracted 30 teams from districts, Ca Mau city and some other units outside the province. Each team consisted of 5 members. The teams not only brought cakes with strong community imprints, but also demonstrated creativity and new variations.

The jury scored the Tran Van Thoi district team. The work had the theme of gratitude to the origin and celebrating the country's liberation day.

The atmosphere at the festival became vibrant, rich in colors of cakes and unique decorations. The organizers created the best conditions for the teams to show their talents at separate booths, then display them together at the "common house" for the judges to score.

Team Ward 6, Ca Mau City brought a colorful work, expressing unique ideas with the shape of the country and the image of the liberation day of April 30.

According to the Organizing Committee, the ingredients for processing were carefully selected by the teams from foods, vegetables, tubers, and fruits of clear origin, environmentally friendly, ensuring food hygiene and safety, while promoting the spirit of thrift and creativity in use.

The teams demonstrated creativity and ingenuity through each work.

Within 180 minutes, teams complete products for 10 people to enjoy. Each team has a maximum of 5 minutes to present the idea and story behind their cake.

Ingredients are carefully selected by the teams from foods, vegetables, fruits, etc. of clear origin and environmentally friendly.

The bustling atmosphere of the Southern Traditional Cake Festival will continue with the performance of wrapping and cooking banh tet on the morning of May 2 and will be summarized and awarded in the afternoon of the same day.
