Mr. Huynh Thanh Huynh, Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Department of Health and Head of the Project Management Board in the province, said: The implementation of the project "Promoting equity through grassroots eye care models" in the 2025-2029 period is a foundational step for the development of grassroots eye care models in Lam Dong province, in line with the Government's orientation on the National Program for Blindness Prevention in Vietnam for the 2016-2020 period and the vision to 2030.

In Lam Dong province, the project is funded with over 6.8 billion VND; of which nearly 6.2 billion VND is non-refundable foreign non-governmental aid, and nearly 620 million VND is counterpart funding. The implementation period is from 2025 to 2029. The project will be implemented in communes throughout Lam Dong province.
