Representatives from the leadership of Cac Son commune signed the handover document for the land to the investor and contractor of the project.
At the conference, Cac Son commune handed over the entire land area of over 12 hectares, nearly 3.8 km in length, to the investor, the Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of the province.
To hand over a cleared site for the project ahead of schedule, over the past period, Cac Son commune has implemented a comprehensive set of solutions, intensified propaganda and mobilization efforts among affected households, and fully implemented policies of openness and transparency, thus gaining the consensus of the affected households.
To date, Cac Son commune has completed the payment of compensation for land clearance. Affected households have voluntarily dismantled their structures and handed over the land to the State. The local authorities did not have to implement any coercive land reclamation plan.

The units are conducting on-site inspections of the project construction area.

The contractor is dismantling the structure and handing over the site for project construction.
The project to connect the North-South Expressway with National Highway 1A to Nghi Son Port has a total investment of 1,345 billion VND, divided into two routes.
Of that, Route 1 has a length of 10.4km, with the section passing through Cac Son commune being nearly 3.8km long.
According to the plan, the project will be completed and put into operation in December 2027.
The fact that Cac Son commune has completed the land clearance and handed over a clean site to the investor ahead of the committed deadline will create favorable conditions for the investor and contractor to focus on accelerating the construction progress, striving to complete the project on schedule as planned.
