On the morning of June 8, the Cu Kuin District Party Committee held a mid-term review conference to evaluate the implementation of the Resolution of the 6th Cu Kuin District Party Congress, term 2020-2025.

With the spirit of solidarity and high determination, in the last half term, the Party Committee of Cu Kuin district has made great efforts to overcome difficulties to implement the goals and tasks and achieved many positive results, with 16/21 target groups reaching and exceeding the set progress.
In the last half term, the total production value (at 2010 constant prices) in Cu Kuin district was estimated at 17.939 billion VND, equaling 53,96% of the plan. The scale of the economy in 2023 is 1,31 times higher than in 2020, the average economic growth rate in the period 2021 - 2023 will grow by 9,52%. The production value per capita reached 84,09 million VND. State budget revenue in the 2021-2023 period is estimated at 450 billion VND, reaching 75% of the Resolution of the district Party Congress.

The whole district currently has 3 communes meeting new rural standards, it is expected that in 2023 there will be 3 more communes meeting new rural standards. The rate of trained workers reached 72%, exceeding the set target compared to the whole term. From 2020 to now, the whole district has admitted 426/750 party members, reaching 56,8% of the Resolution. Administrative reform continues to receive attention. Defence and security is maintained.
The conference frankly acknowledged the shortcomings, limitations and pointed out the causes to overcome and perform well the tasks in the coming time. Specifically: the district's agriculture is still fragmented and spontaneous, so the economic efficiency achieved in agriculture is still low. Agricultural and industrial production lacks sustainability and low competitiveness; underdeveloped tourism. Management of industrial clusters is not strict, a number of projects have been approved for investment policies but have not yet started. The investment in the construction of economic and social infrastructure faces many difficulties, investment capital and economic infrastructure are still limited. At the conference, the delegates focused on discussing and proposing many solutions to continue to well implement the targets and tasks for the remaining half term of the Resolution of the 2020th District Party Congress, term 2025-3. The district Party Committee also voted and agreed to adjust and supplement 2 indicators, adjust the data of XNUMX indicators and propose to take out of the resolution a number of development tasks.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Cu Kuin District Party Committee Le Thai Dung highly appreciated the efforts of the entire Party Committee in implementing the set targets and tasks, especially during the time when the economic situation was still unstable and the COVID-19 epidemic was complicated.
In order to successfully complete the Resolution of the 2020th Cu Kuin District Party Congress, term 2025 - 2023, Mr. Le Thai Dung suggested that the whole Party Committee continue to perform well the tasks of state budget collection in the period of 2025 - XNUMX; solve problems of land fund development investment projects, speed up the collection of land use levy; strengthen the management of land use in industrial clusters. Along with that, focus capital sources, especially encourage mobilization of social capital sources in the fields of health, education, culture, physical training and sports to increase investment in building social infrastructure to meet development requirements. Focus on building a solid defense area; to associate economic and social development with ensuring national defense and security. On this occasion, Cu Kuin District also handed over the Decision of the Provincial Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the appointment of additional members of the Executive Committee of the Cu Kuin District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Minh, Head of the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Mr. Pham Van Phuc, Head of the District Finance - Planning Department.
