According to the People's Committee of Ea Kar district, as of September 30th, the National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas (Program 1719) implemented in the district has disbursed nearly 50 billion VND, accounting for 43.8% of the total investment capital of the Program in 2023.
Of this, over 6.5 billion VND (19.21% of the total capital) was disbursed from recurrent expenditure funds; and over 43.4 billion VND (54.24% of the total capital) was disbursed from development investment funds.

It is known that 9 out of 10 projects under Program 1719 are being implemented in the district, with a total budget for 2023 of nearly 114 billion VND, including nearly 34 billion VND from recurrent expenditure (carried over from 2022 and 2023) and over 80 billion VND from development investment.
To ensure 100% disbursement of funds under Program 1719 in 2023, the People's Committee of Ea Kar district directed the People's Committees of the communes receiving investment from the program to carry out the procedures for implementing the component projects in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee.
Simultaneously, effectively implement Resolution No. 03/NQ-HĐND dated January 28, 2022, of the District People's Council on approving the Plan for socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Ea Kar district for the period 2021-2025; organize training and workshops for grassroots officials and community leaders, and influential figures among ethnic minorities.
Strengthen the role of Party committees, government agencies, and mass organizations in mobilizing ethnic minority communities to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws on ethnic issues; encourage ethnic minority communities to actively develop the economy, eradicate poverty, build a cultural life, and overcome the mentality of waiting and relying on the State; and effectively monitor the situation at the grassroots level, identify pressing issues, and understand the legitimate aspirations and concerns of ethnic minority communities in the district.
In addition, it is requested that provincial-level agencies conduct training and provide comprehensive written guidance to localities to address any remaining obstacles or issues that have not yet been resolved.
