Nghia Hanh District organizes the "Countryside Cuisine" Festival

The program is organized by the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Nghia Hanh district in coordination with the Binh Thanh Agricultural - Service and Community Tourism Cooperative, taking place from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on April 30 - May 1, 2025.

The “Country Cuisine” Festival with the main “stage” being the newly harvested rice fields, decorated gently, simply and rustically; the diverse and rich culinary area with over 30 dishes of all kinds, made from local agricultural products and fruits. The highlight of the festival program is the folk games, the experience of making traditional cakes, visiting fruit gardens, growing mulberry trees and raising silkworms, etc., promising to bring visitors, especially children, attractive and useful activities.

Students enjoy the experience of making banh xeo at Binh Thanh Community Tourism Village.

Coming to the “Countryside Cuisine” Festival, visitors can enjoy rustic, traditional dishes prepared by the people of Binh Thanh community tourism village such as: Banh xeo, mixed jackfruit, grapefruit salad, corn ram, grilled snakehead fish, banh chung, banh tet, banh it, banh bot loc, grilled dishes, banh beo, corn ram... At the same time, visitors can also enjoy a variety of local specialty fruits such as grapefruit, dwarf banana, banana, royal banana, star apple..., along with special art performances and bai choi.

The "Countryside Cuisine" festival is held at Ba Danh field, in Binh Thanh village, Hanh Nhan commune.

Director of Binh Thanh Doan Phu Viet Nam Agricultural - Service and Community Tourism Cooperative said that the "Countryside Cuisine" Festival has about 20 households in Binh Thanh village directly participating. This is the 4th year that Binh Thanh Agricultural - Service and Community Tourism Cooperative has organized countryside cuisine programs and festivals. After 3 years of organization, the village cuisine program and festival have attracted nearly 10,000 visitors each year to visit and experience. Thereby promoting local community tourism products, attracting visitors and experiencers; contributing to helping local people improve their income.
