Huynh Nhu posted a photo of her parents with the car she just bought on social media on the afternoon of January 10. The sedan costs more than 1 billion VND, and is the second biggest gift Nhu has given her family, after she spent 2 billion VND to help her parents build a house in the countryside last year.
"16 years of time have taken away my youth and faded the color of my parents' hair. Thank you for giving me what I have today," Nhu wrote. Nhu's post received much sympathy from friends, colleagues and fans.

Huynh Nhu is playing for Lank Women's Club in the Portuguese National Championship. She recently had her contract renewed after a successful first year playing in Europe. Nhu's salary at Lank is said to be more than 1,500 euros/month (more than 40 million VND). In her hometown of Tra Vinh , Nhu also runs her own agricultural business.
Huynh Nhu is the first Vietnamese player to play in Portugal. Last season, she scored 7 goals, including 5 in the national championship and 2 in the cup. In the 2023/24 season, Huynh Nhu played 7 matches and scored 1 goal. Nhu (32 years old) is the second oldest player in the Lank squad, after goalkeeper Ana Loureiro (33 years old).
The name Huynh Nhu is also associated with the most successful period of the Vietnamese women's team, winning gold medals at 4 consecutive SEA Games and participating in the 2023 Women's World Cup.
