Regularly traveling on DT.606 from Tr'Hy to Lang commune and vice versa, Mr. Bhling Mưr - Head of Abanh village, Tr'hy commune, reported that the current construction progress is still sluggish. The number of workers, machinery and equipment working at the construction site is very small. Many construction sections are unfinished, with many potholes, posing a potential risk to traffic safety.

“Rainy days are the most difficult to travel. Road surfaces at construction sites are unfinished and rocky, causing many weak drivers to fall off their bikes,” said Mr. Mur.

According to Mr. Colau Rinh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tr'hy commune, when hearing the policy of repairing the DT.606 route from Lang commune to Tr'Hy commune, the government and people were very excited. However, the slow construction progress has significantly affected the people's travel, production and transportation of goods. The local government has repeatedly petitioned superiors and local voters to reflect during the meeting with National Assembly delegates.

“The locality hopes that the investor will urge the contractor to quickly speed up the progress. In the immediate future, measures need to be taken to ensure traffic safety, especially during the rainy and stormy season, when this road is often prone to landslides,” Mr. Rinh suggested.

DT.606 is the only traffic route to 4 highland communes of Tay Giang district with about 2,063 households and more than 7,000 people. To ensure the travel of people on the route, the Provincial People's Committee has allocated 60 billion VND to repair the section from Lang commune to Tr'Hy commune with a total length of 28km.

To speed up the repair progress, Tay Giang District Party Committee has sent an official dispatch to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct the investor and the construction unit to speed up the construction progress of the above project to ensure quality, promote capital efficiency and soon hand it over for use.

Recently, Director of Quang Nam Department of Transport Van Anh Tuan has directed the contractor to increase human resources and equipment to speed up the construction progress of DT.606 route, ensuring the travel of people. At the same time, he requested the functional departments to strengthen the inspection and handling work if the contractor continues to repeat the situation of slow construction and slow progress.
