InterContinental Danang opens a Hoi An history exhibition during Tet.

The exhibition "A Brief History of Vietnam," designed by architect Bill Bensley, is open from February 11th to April 30th at the InterContinental Danang.

The exhibition features 30 paintings that recreate the journey of Da Nang and Hoi An from the past, present, to the future, taking art lovers on a time travel adventure from the 17th to the 22nd centuries. Accordingly, Vietnam in the 17th and 18th centuries is highlighted by images of trade connections with Europe and Korea, followed by the adventurous ships that sailed to southern Chile in the 19th century, and then the departure of the French in the 20th century...

All historical milestones are vividly and artistically depicted through Bensley's unique style. Beyond simply recreating the past, the exhibition also offers a glimpse into the future, featuring an AI-designed temple in Da Nang and the author's bold predictions about fashion .

The message that artist Bill Bensley wants to convey through the exhibition is, " Explore suburban destinations outside of Da Nang and admire the wild natural landscapes before they disappear."

Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase Bensley's artwork, with all proceeds going to charities, including the Shinta Mani Foundation, which Bensley co-founded and is a major supporter of. At the resort, Bill will also be giving an intimate talk, titled "A Lecture on the Paintings of Bill Bensley," at the Moulin Rouge (karaoke area) on February 9th.
