In iOS 26, Apple updated the Battery section within Settings to provide deeper insights into how iPhone usage affects battery life, how much battery power apps consume, and a new battery management tool.
At the top of the Battery interface, information about the current battery level and the last charging time is displayed. If the iPhone is charging, it will indicate how much time is left to fully charge.

The graph showing battery usage information is no longer divided into 24-hour and 10-day periods. Instead, Apple only provides a weekly view, comparing current battery levels to the average.
The new comparison feature will let users know if they are using more, equal to, or less than usual. Additionally, it provides information on which apps are using more battery and by how much, making it easier to identify the apps that are draining the battery.
The app's battery usage indicator adds details about apps running in the background longer, staying on screen longer, or sending more notifications than usual.

Users can go back 7 days to see how much battery power was used on a given day, with analysis of active usage and screen-on usage. It also displays the charging time and duration.
The Battery Health section remains, allowing users to view charging cycles, maximum capacity, and the option to limit charging to 80%. In the Power Mode section, Apple has added Adaptive Power , alongside the previously available Low Power Mode .

Adaptive Power Mode detects when iPhone usage is higher than normal and makes small performance adjustments, such as reducing screen brightness, to extend battery life.
New battery features are available in iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, but Apple hasn't changed the battery features for Macs yet. iOS 26 will officially launch in September.
