iPad mini 7 has started selling in Vietnam.

Currently, to own an iPad mini 7, users can only order it through the Apple Store Online and wait 2-5 days for delivery depending on the region. There are four color options, Wi-Fi and 5G versions, with storage capacities of 128, 256, and 512 GB. The starting price is 13.9 million VND, while those participating in the education program can purchase it from 12.6 million VND.

Authorized retail systems such as The Gioi Dien Thoai,FPT Shop, CellphoneS, and ShopDunk have not yet started selling them.

The iPad mini 7 is equipped with the A17 Pro chip, the same as in the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, so it fully supports Apple Intelligence. Users in Vietnam can now use many AI features after updating to the latest software version, but they must set the language to American English.

By 2025, Apple's AI feature set will expand to more platforms and languages, including Vietnamese, Chinese, English (Indian, Singaporean), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.

The iPad mini 7 is an upgrade from the iPad mini 6, released three years after its predecessor. While not outstanding in terms of features or specifications, the device is popular thanks to its compact and lightweight design, a rarity in the current tablet world .

The device still uses an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display. It's also one of the most powerful small-sized tablets on the market, featuring the A17 Pro chip which delivers a 30% increase in CPU performance and a 25% increase in GPU performance compared to the previous generation. However, a drawback is that it still uses a 60Hz screen refresh rate.

In addition to increased processing power, the smaller iPad also features a new addition for content creators: support for the Pencil Pro. This allows users to feel scrolling and squeezing gestures to open menus thanks to haptic feedback located at the end of the pen. Scrolling gestures are a completely new feature not found on competing products.

The new generation iPad mini features several other improvements such as Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, faster USB-C data transfer speeds, and an upgraded 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with Smart HDR 4. Users have color options including blue, purple, star gold, and space gray. Apple also launched a new Smart Folio protective case compatible with the iPad Mini 7, priced at 1.69 million VND, available in charcoal gray, light purple, denim blue, and green.
