The iPhone 16 has lower sales than the iPhone 15.

Based on pre-orders and average delivery times for each iPhone 16 model, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that iPhone 16 demand was lower than expected.

The reasons given are lower-than-expected demand for the iPhone 16 Pro series. Additionally, the Apple Intelligence suite, which has attracted significant user interest, won't be rolled out until December. Furthermore, the iPhone 16 series faces competition in the Chinese market, where consumers prefer domestic products like Huawei and Xiaomi.

The iPhone 16 has lower sales than the iPhone 15.

Analysts at Bank of America and JPMorgan also pointed out that extended delivery times resulted in lower demand for the iPhone 16 Pro series compared to last year. Data showed that initial orders for the Pro series decreased by double digits, while orders for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus increased.

However, the decrease in iPhone 16 sales may be due to other factors such as supply, distribution, and pricing.

During the "It's glowtime" event, Apple unveiled the iPhone 16 series, consisting of four products: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are equipped with a 48MP "two-in-one" Fusion camera system that allows for high-resolution image capture or 2x optical zoom with telephoto capabilities. The Ultra Wide camera captures extremely close-up macro shots or panoramic views.

The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max feature larger OLED displays and a native ultrawide camera with an upgraded 48MP resolution.

All four products feature a new camera button and are equipped with the A18 chip (iPhone 16, 16 Plus) and the A18 Pro chip (iPhone 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max).

According to Apple's official website, all four iPhone 16 models were available for pre-order starting September 20th and went on sale in Vietnam from September 27th.
