Striker Harry Kane agreed to move to Bayern Munich, after the German team reached an agreement to buy him from Tottenham for $ 110 million.
According to The Athletic, Kane has closed to Bayern and is just waiting for Tottenham's permission to go to Germany for a medical check-up and complete the transfer. The England captain agreed to personal terms, on a four-year contract proposed by Bayern. Kane's salary is expected to be around $525.000 per week, more than double what he earns at Tottenham.

Yesterday 10/8, Tottenham agreed to offer 110 million USD from Bayern. After the two sides agreed on the transfer fee, British media reported that Kane wanted to stay, because he was satisfied with the new coach Ange Postecoglou. However, just a few hours later, the 30-year-old striker changed his mind and chose to move to Bayern.
Kane only has a contract until June 6, and selling him to Bayern helps Tottenham avoid losing money next year when the striker can leave as a free agent. Bayern also achieved their goal of finding a worthy replacement for Robert Lewandowski – the striker left the team last summer. The amount they spend to have Kane will also be a Bundesliga transfer record.
Kane decided early because he wanted to stabilize his future before the new season. In two days, Tottenham will play their opening match against Brentford in the English Premier League. After Kane scored four goals in a friendly against Shakhtar Donetsk 5-1 earlier this week, coach Postecoglou spoke to him privately, asking Kane to soon decide whether to leave or stay before the first round of the Premier League.
Kane is Tottenham's all-time top scorer, with 280 goals in 435 games. If counting the Premier League alone, Kane has scored 213 goals in 320 matches. He needed 48 more goals to break the record for most goalscorers in tournament history held by Alan Shearer. Kane also holds the scoring record for England with 58 goals.
Last season, Kane scored 30 goals in the English Premier League, but Tottenham only finished eighth and did not qualify for the European Cup this season. The team has also not won a title since 2008. This is one of the reasons why Kane wants to leave, as he has not won a collective title. His best achievement is reaching the final of the 2015 and 2021 League Cup, the 2019 Champions League final with Tottenham and the Euro 2021 final with England.
