(Baothanhhoa.vn) - From individual startup stories, thanks to the linkages and support from associations and organizations, many female entrepreneurs in Thanh Hoa have become more stable on their journey of business development. They not only contribute to the local economy but also serve as symbols of the strength and intelligence of modern women.

The Thanh Hoa Women Entrepreneurs Association signed a cooperation agreement with the Binh Phuoc Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association.

Driven by her passion for seafood processing, Ms. Le Thi Lieu has gradually built her own brand for her family's traditional products. She is currently the Director of Hiep Anh Seafood Processing Co., Ltd., located in Hai Hoa Ward (Nghi Son Town), specializing in the production of dried seafood products such as squid, fish, and shrimp. Currently, her company offers 20 processed seafood products including dried fish, squid, anchovies, shrimp, jellyfish, fish sauce, and various types of fermented fish paste; providing regular employment for 50 workers with an income of 7-8 million VND per person per month. Hiep Anh Seafood Processing Co., Ltd. currently owns 4 OCOP products (3-star and 4-star), including dried squid, dried anchovies, dried anchovies, and fish sauce, and is developing two more OCOP products in 2025.

Ms. Lieu shared: “We have made the most of the advantages of e-commerce platforms, social networks... In addition, participating in associations has helped businesses have more opportunities to network, expand their product markets through trade promotion activities, exhibitions, introductions, and connecting supply and demand for products within and outside the province.”

Starting from the construction sector, and through a journey of continuous effort, Thanh Hoa Construction - Trading Company Limited (Ha Trung) has expanded into many fields such as mechanics, water supply, and education , creating a sustainable multi-sector production and business ecosystem. Ms. Vu Thi Tham, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Construction - Trading Company Limited, said: “The core factor that helps the company stand firm in a competitive market is flexible adaptation to the trends of the times and the companionship of the workforce. We always believe that ‘to go far, we must go together.’ Therefore, in addition to ensuring stable income, the company focuses on building a friendly working environment, like a ‘common home,’ where employees can feel secure and share the difficulties and successes with the company.”

The Thanh Hoa Women Entrepreneurs Association currently has nearly 200 official members and over 600 members participating in activities at 12 women entrepreneurs' clubs in districts, towns, and cities throughout the province. Recognizing that in the context of international economic integration, collaboration to create a strong community is crucial for business development, the association annually organizes and participates in numerous forums, seminars, study tours, experience sharing sessions, consultations, and exchanges with economic organizations and other business associations. They also participate in delegations from the province, the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, the provincial business association, and other associations to promote investment and trade programs both domestically and internationally for its members.

A prime example is the 2024 "Creative Women - Entrepreneurship" program, themed "Creative Women Entrepreneurs and Green Transformation," which attracted nearly 30 booths. Here, members showcased OCOP products, regional specialties, and traditional craft village models based on sustainable and environmentally friendly production criteria. The event not only created opportunities for business networking but also affirmed the increasingly prominent role of women in economic development coupled with social and environmental responsibility.

Along with promoting the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws in production and business, the association has also focused on training and capacity building for its members, organizing many training courses such as: applying information technology in warehouse management, human resource management, leadership skills, and business management; providing information, consulting on training, accessing loan capital, building brands, and researching product consumption markets...

For example, the thematic workshop "How to Motivate Employees and Improve Teamwork Effectiveness" attracted 158 participants; organized a training program in Hanoi organized by WELEAD in collaboration with GO DIGITAL ASEAN on the theme: "Developing Your Business in the Digital Age" and networking with several northern provinces and cities; organized 14 training courses on international product standards, improving product design and packaging, perfecting product pricing mechanisms, innovating and enhancing sales capabilities, business management teams, technology transfer, using modern techniques, accessing and conducting scientific research, and brand building; organized exchanges and signed cooperation programs with the Women Entrepreneurs Associations of Ha Tinh and Binh Phuoc provinces...

Ms. Trinh Thi Loan, President of the Thanh Hoa Women Entrepreneurs Association, shared: “In 2024, most member businesses maintained stable production and business operations. Currently, the association's businesses are creating jobs for over 12,000 workers, an increase of more than 2,000 workers compared to 2023, fulfilling their obligations to the State, participating in social welfare programs, and ensuring the rights of workers. The achievements in the past period are important conditions for the association to continue innovating its content and methods of operation, building a strong organization, and truly becoming a common home for women entrepreneurs to share, help, cooperate, and promote the development of production and business.”
