Recently, in Thoi Binh district, joy filled the new homes of two families affected by Agent Orange/Dioxin. The Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims of Ca Mau province and the Women's Charity Association of Ho Chi Minh City organized a handover ceremony for two charitable houses to Mr. Le Minh Duong (Le Hoang Tha hamlet, Tan Bang commune) and Mr. Le Van Thao (Nguyen Tong hamlet, Bien Bach Dong commune).

Mr. Le Minh Duong's house is valued at 95 million VND, of which the family of Dr. Phuong Ngoan (Ho Chi Minh City) contributed 50 million VND through the fundraising efforts of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Charity Association, with the remainder contributed by the family. Mr. Le Van Thao's house is valued at 105 million VND, of which 60 million VND was supported by the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, with the rest contributed by the family. These sturdy houses not only have material value but also ignite hope for a stable life for families who have already suffered many disadvantages.

Mr. Le Van Thao also expressed his gratitude, saying, "With a new house, I can focus on my work and take care of my children. Local government representatives emphasized that the joint efforts of the Association and philanthropists have made a significant contribution to social welfare, helping families of Agent Orange victims stabilize their lives.

The bridge is 27 meters long and 2 meters wide, with a total construction cost of 120 million VND, sponsored by the family of Ms. Huynh Thi Du (Ho Chi Minh City).

On this occasion, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Ca Mau province, in coordination with the family of Ms. Huynh Thi Du, organized the donation of 70 gift packages to Agent Orange victims and disadvantaged children at the Ca Mau Provincial Trade Union Guest House. Each gift package, worth 700,000 VND, included essential necessities.

For many years, the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Charity Association has been a trusted and close partner of the Ca Mau Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in caring for Agent Orange victims and people in difficult circumstances. "We will continue to mobilize and connect more benevolent hearts to build more bridges, houses of compassion, and donate gifts to the poor and Agent Orange victims. We believe that love will continue to spread, helping the community become more united and compassionate," shared Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue.
