Proactively overcome difficulties.

At Ho Thi Ky B Primary School in Ho Thi Ky Commune, the school's facilities are still limited. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thi, the school principal, stated that the current difficulty is the lack of equipment to ensure teaching and learning according to the 2018 general education curriculum. “Teachers still use electronic lesson plans as required, but when they go to class, they still have to teach ‘without’ equipment because there aren’t enough TVs and supporting equipment. The school currently has 10 classrooms but only 4 TVs, all of which were provided by the teachers themselves,” Mr. Thi shared.

Ms. Pham Thi Tu Quyen was the first teacher at the school to decide to "invest" in equipment. Initially, she brought an old television from home to the classroom for teaching. Seeing how happy the students were and how effectively it served her teaching, she decided to buy a larger television on installments and install it permanently in the classroom.

Since we got TVs, teaching has become much more effective, bringing out the best aspects of the curriculum. Seeing the students enthusiastic and achieving better academic results makes me very happy. After me, many other teachers decided to buy their own TVs,” Ms. Tu Quyen shared .

Ms. Tu Quyen shared that teaching and learning become very difficult when there is insufficient equipment.

And the first person to respond to Ms. Tu Quyen's initiative was her husband, Mr. Ho Chi Tam. Mr. Tam enthusiastically said, "Seeing my wife's effective implementation, I followed suit. Initially, I bought a 42-inch TV, but after teaching for a while, I found it too small, so I brought it home and bought a larger one. Even with limited resources, we must find ways to overcome challenges, as long as the students learn better."
