Opening of the 11th Congress of the Party Committee of Military Region 7

On August 14, the 11th Congress of the Party Committee of Military Region 7, term 2025 - 2030, officially opened at the Hall of Military Region 7.

Attending the congress were General Trinh Van Quyet, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc; and 288 official delegates representing more than 8,800 party members in the entire Party Committee of Military Region 7.

Before the congress, the delegation attending the 11th Party Congress of Military Region 7, term 2025 - 2030, offered flowers, incense and reported on President Ho Chi Minh's achievements at the Memorial in the grounds of the Military Region 7 Command Headquarters.

Speaking at the ceremony to report to President Ho Chi Minh, Colonel Nguyen Nhu Truc, Deputy Director of Political Department of Military Region 7, said that in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Military Region 7 has thoroughly grasped and seriously and effectively implemented the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, resolutions, directives, conclusions, regulations and rules of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense ; led the comprehensive completion of tasks, many of which were completed well and excellently.

Thereby, contributing to the whole country entering a new era of development, an era of national advancement. First of all, successfully organizing the 11th Military Region 7 Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, ensuring proper procedures and principles; wisely selecting qualified party members, ensuring the quantity, quality and structure to participate in the new Party Executive Committee and the delegation to attend the 12th Military Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Speaking at the opening of the congress, Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 7, said that the 11th Military Region Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is a special political activity, continuing to affirm the political mettle, the will to be self-reliant, solidarity and determination to win, and the continuous growth of the armed forces of Military Region 7.

Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc emphasized that the success of the congress is a very important premise for the Party Committee and armed forces of Military Region 7 to successfully fulfill the task of protecting the Fatherland in the coming time, contributing to the success of the 12th Military Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

At the same time, it is also an excellent achievement to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2), and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the armed forces of Military Region 7.

On the first official working day, the congress listened to the report on the results of the preparatory session; approved the report on the results of the qualification examination of delegates to the congress. Presented and discussed the political report, the review report of the Military Region Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and the action plan to implement the congress resolution and discussed.

Also on the first official working day, the congress will conduct personnel work to elect the Party Executive Committee of Military Region 7 for the 2025-2030 term and delegates to the 12th Military Party Congress; report and approve the election results of the Party Executive Committee of Military Region 7 for the 2025-2030 term; The Party Executive Committee of Military Region 7 for the 2025-2030 term will hold its first meeting to elect the Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, and Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 7.
