In his opening speech, Permanent Vice Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Nam emphasized: In order to continue introducing and promoting the values, resources and tourism products of Tam Ky to visitors from near and far, contributing to promoting and attracting investment, creating momentum for economic - cultural - social development, Tam Ky City organizes the Tam Ky Sea Festival in 2024 with the theme "Tam Ky - Come and explore".

According to Mr. Nam, with the goal of building and forming a tourist destination of Quang Nam, in recent years, the Party Committee, government and people of the city have been determined and strived to build Tam Ky into a city rich in identity associated with the development of cultural, historical, ecological and experiential tourism on the basis of natural landscapes, cultural values and community, an attractive and hospitable destination.
"Coming to Tam Ky is coming to the beloved motherland of the complex of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers monuments - a sacred and great symbol of the Vietnamese people; coming to the national historical site of Ky Anh Tunnels - a legend in the hearts of the people of Quang; coming to Bai Say - Song Dam with its natural beauty and rare diverse ecosystem; coming to the first Tam Thanh Mural Village in Vietnam, with brilliant colors. In particular, there is the Tam Thanh sea space with blue sea, white sand, golden sunshine and embraced by the poetic and green Truong Giang River" - Mr. Nam said.
Through the Tam Ky Sea Festival 2024, we aim to honor, develop and spread the unique indigenous cultural resources of Tam Ky to friends and visitors from near and far; contributing to realizing the aspiration of building Tam Ky into a dynamic urban development of the Central and Central Highlands regions.
At the opening night, the welcoming art program took place with special performances reflecting the daily life and cultural features of fishermen in coastal areas, praising the young city of Tam Ky with the participation of artists and actors from all over the country.
The 2024 Tam Ky Sea Festival takes place from June 14 to June 30 with more than 10 exciting and attractive activities, such as an art program with the theme "Tam Thanh - Clear Blue Sea - Cool River"; Carnival and sea music festival; Bai Choi singing exchange; promoting Tam Thanh cuisine and fish sauce, sea marathon; swimming and round basket shaking on the sea...
