The 2023 Capital Region Innovation Startup Festival (Techfest Hanoi 2023) opened on the afternoon of October 12 at the National Convention Center. In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Le Xuan Dinh said that building an innovation ecosystem must be linked to localities and regions, focusing on exploiting nuclear resources and localities will create character. sustainable and long-term for the development of the national ecosystem.
He reminded about the 2023 Global Innovation Index Report, saying that Vietnam continues to improve its ranking, increasing 2 places compared to 2022, ranking 46/132 countries and economies. This result is thanks to the development of national technological capacity and a growing innovative startup ecosystem.

Currently, Hanoi has about 1.000 innovative startups out of a total of 3.800 innovative startups in the country (accounting for 26,32%). Techfest Hanoi 2023 is jointly organized by the Hanoi People's Committee and the Ministry of Science and Technology, taking place from October 12-14.
