The exhibition displays 100 valuable documentary images summarizing the life, revolutionary career and great and important contributions of comrade Nguyen Van Linh to the southern revolution in his positions from Secretary of the Saigon-Cho Lon-Gia Dinh City Party Committee, Secretary of the Southern Regional Party Committee, to Member of the Central Committee of the Southern Region.
He was one of the key leaders who directly directed, organized and developed the revolutionary movement in the South, contributing to the victory of the General Offensive and Uprising in the Spring of Mau Than 1968 and the culmination of the Great Victory in the Spring of 1975, liberating the South and unifying the country.
With independent thinking, autonomy and the spirit of daring to think and dare to do, in his position as Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Comrade Nguyen Van Linh always closely follows and summarizes the practical experience of piloting effective innovation methods, drawing lessons to lead the city's development.
As General Secretary in the early period of implementing the renovation process, under his leadership, our Party issued many important Resolutions, mechanisms and policies, steadfastly and synchronously implementing the cause of national renovation and steering the Vietnamese revolutionary boat to overcome many difficulties and challenges, steadily moving forward on the path of building socialism, for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.
The exhibition also shows the honest, simple life imbued with the love of compatriots of comrade Nguyen Van Linh - a shining example of a steadfast and brave communist soldier, dedicating his whole life to the revolutionary cause "loyal to the country, filial to the people".
Comrade Nguyen Van Linh - An excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, trained and matured in the long revolutionary struggle, is a prestigious leader of our Party, people and army, trusted and respected by comrades and compatriots, a trusted friend of international friends.
In order to express gratitude and honor the great contributions and contributions of comrade Nguyen Van Linh to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City have built works named after him, contributingto educating historical and cultural traditions, cultivating love for the homeland and national pride for future generations.
The exhibition runs until July 5 at Lam Son Park and the Youth Cultural House.
On the same day, the City delegation offered incense and flowers to General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh at Ho Chi Minh City Cemetery.
