In response to the 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, on July 5th, the Youth Union of the Vietnam News Agency Information Center in the Southern region, the Youth Union of the Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, in coordination with the Tay Ninh Provincial Youth Union and sponsors, organized the program "Young Doctors' Day Following Uncle Ho's Teachings, Volunteering for Community Health 2025" with the theme "Young Doctors Taking the Lead, Striving in the Digital Age" in Tan Tay commune, Tay Ninh province.
According to Huynh Long Ho, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Vietnam News Agency's Southern Region Information Center, the program is an opportunity to demonstrate the sense of responsibility, initiative, and compassion of youth union members; young doctors and medical professionals in community health care, especially for the elderly and people in difficult circumstances in rural, remote, and disadvantaged areas.
This further affirms the role and responsibility of young medical professionals and the Youth Union towards society, contributing to the cause of protecting, caring for, and improving the health of the people.

“The ‘Young Doctors’ Day Following Uncle Ho’s Teachings, Volunteering for Community Health 2025’ is not only a meaningful volunteer activity, but the program also demonstrates the innovative and creative spirit of the Youth Union and young doctors in the era of digital transformation, actively applying technology to improve the effectiveness of community health care.”
As part of the program, the medical team from Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital provided free general check-ups and health consultations to 300 elderly people in difficult circumstances in Tan Tay commune, Tay Ninh province.

The organizers donated 300 gift packages, including essential supplies and blood glucose meters, to people in difficult circumstances in the area.
The total cost for this health check-up and gift-giving program was nearly 300 million VND, sponsored by Red.Hugs (Warm Embrace), a charitable program of Red Communications Co., Ltd., and several other businesses.
Mr. Tran Hai Phu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, emphasized that this is a practical activity, affirming the role, responsibility, and positive contributions of young people in agencies and units in the work of caring for, protecting, and improving the health of the people.
At the same time, we hope that in the future, organizations and units will continue to cooperate and support the implementation of more meaningful programs, contributing to improving the lives of local people, especially in remote, mountainous, and border areas of Tay Ninh province that still face many difficulties.
