Vietnamese Identity Highlights at the VCEP Awards 2025 Ceremony

(CLO) The VCEP Awards 2025 ceremony – a key event within the framework of the Vietnam Innovation Economy & Industry Development Forum – recently took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

Organized by the Practical Arts and Crafts Organization, under the patronage of the Vietnam Institute for Practical Arts and Crafts Research & Application (VIPA) and the Vietnam Creative and Copyright Association, the event is considered a significant milestone in promoting the domestic creative ecosystem.

At the awards ceremony, Ambassador Ngo Quang Xuan affirmed that the individuals honored this year "are typical representatives of Vietnam's creativity, resilience, humanity, and integration." The award criteria emphasize four elements: creativity, social impact, cultural value, and reach, reflecting the direction of developing a modern creative economy , closely linked to real-life situations.

In 2025, the organizing committee selected eight outstanding individuals from various fields. In music , composer Nguyen Van Chung received the "Creative and Impressive Composer" award for over 20 years of dedicated songwriting. Singer Duc Phuc was honored in the "Creative and Inspiring Singer" category for his youthful style and distinct personal brand. In the field of tourism and culture, travel vlogger Khoai Lang Thang was recognized for spreading the image of authentic Vietnam to the world.

The group of young talents includes MC Khánh Vy, who stands out for her educational projects and inspiring foreign language learning. In film, Liên Bỉnh Phát received the "Breakthrough Actor of the Year" award, highlighting the social responsibility of artists. Additionally, singer Phương Thanh was awarded the "Career Achievement" award; designer Chung Thanh Phong and artist Nguyễn Tuấn Mạnh were also honored in the fields of fashion and musical instrument performance.

More than just an awards ceremony, VCEP Awards 2025 also serves as a bridge connecting art, culture, technology, and business. Many side discussions revolved around personal branding, leveraging cultural resources, and creative collaboration. The large gathering of artists, researchers, and businesses demonstrates the need to form a sustainable creative ecosystem.

The image of generations of artists standing together on stage to conclude the awards ceremony affirmed the spirit of convergence and Vietnamese identity – an important foundation for the strong development of the creative economy in the new era.
