On May 28th, the 5th International Dairy and Dairy Products Exhibition in Vietnam (Vietnam Dairy 2026) opened at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, 91 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi .
This is the only large-scale specialized event for the dairy industry in Vietnam, organized every two years by the Vietnam Dairy Association in collaboration with Vietnam Exhibition and Advertising Joint Stock Company.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from central ministries, departments, and agencies, leading nutrition experts, representatives from international organizations, and a large number of domestic and international businesses involved in the production, processing, and distribution of dairy products.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Quach Quang Dong, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ), said that the dairy industry continues to be one of the key consumer sectors, making an important contribution to economic growth.
According to him, the size of Vietnam's dairy market has exceeded $5.7 billion, while the export value of milk and dairy products is expected to reach over $330 million in 2025. The exhibition serves as a bridge for domestic and international businesses to strengthen trade, access new technologies, and expand markets.

Mr. Tran Quang Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Dairy Association, expressed that global and domestic consumer trends are undergoing profound changes, where consumers not only demand nutritious and safe products but also care about whether the production process is environmentally friendly.
Therefore, Vietnam Dairy 2026 is expected to be a launching pad to help Vietnamese businesses gain deeper access to net emission reduction technologies and apply circular economy principles from farm animal husbandry to packaging, in order to realize the government's Net Zero goal.
Vietnam Dairy 2026 recorded an impressive expansion with the participation of 250 booths from countries and territories with developed dairy industries such as New Zealand, Taiwan (China), Australia, Japan, along with many major Vietnamese brands.
The TH True MILK brand continues to affirm its pioneering position with an exhibition space imbued with nature, comprehensively showcasing its ecosystem of products that are "completely from nature" and for public health.

Alongside this, Nestlé Vietnam showcased its innovative malt milk product lines, fortified with optimal micronutrients for the physical development of Vietnamese children. A highlight was the interactive sports and virtual reality area, where visitors could participate in physical challenges and receive attractive nutritional prizes.
The Dutch Lady brand, part of the FrieslandCampina Group, showcases its rigorous "from green pastures to a refreshing glass of milk" process and organizes tasting events for its latest innovative fresh milk line, scoring points for its pure taste and superior safety.
Vietnam Dairy 2026 is not only a place to showcase and introduce products, but also a high-tech forum, shaping healthy consumer trends and promoting environmentally friendly dairy farming and processing models, aiming for net-zero emissions.

A unique feature of this 5th edition of the exhibition is the simultaneous presence of specialized spaces including the Vietnam Ice Cream Exhibition and the Milk Tea and Modern Beverage Exhibition. This combination provides a comprehensive and diverse picture of the beverage industry's value chain based on dairy ingredients, meeting the rapid growth of the modern consumer market.
The organizing committee will collaborate with regulatory agencies and research institutes to hold a series of in-depth thematic workshops. Key topics will include disseminating Vietnamese technical standards for processed dairy products, discussing the role of milk in school nutrition, and applying high technology to improve productivity and efficiency in sustainable dairy farming.
These workshops are expected to remove many policy and technical bottlenecks, helping domestic businesses get closer to international safety and transparency standards.
Vietnam Dairy 2026 is expected to attract more than 15,000 visitors, including buyers, technology experts, livestock engineers, and the general public.
The exhibition will continue to be open to the public free of charge until May 31, 2026.
