Near the end of the project, bordering National Highway (NH) 14B, the contractor is relocating the power lines, assembling the poles onto the cast bases at a new location. A worker said that the necessary tasks will be completed urgently; once the power outage is scheduled, manpower and equipment will be concentrated to relocate the three transformer stations currently obstructing the middle of the road within a day.
Moving back to the border of Provincial Road 609 (Dai Quang commune) and the northern access road through Dai Minh commune, some bottlenecks regarding land clearance have been resolved, and the joint venture of Thanh Tung Co., Ltd. and Thai Duong Construction Co., Ltd. is now constructing the foundation; applying load to areas requiring weak soil treatment.
The project to connect Provincial Road 609C to National Highway 14B has a total investment of 550 billion VND. The project has a total length of 3.93 km (including bridges), with a roadbed width of 9 meters. Upon completion, the project will seamlessly connect with the project to connect National Highway 14H to Provincial Road 609C (including the Song Thu Bridge).
At that time, residents and tourists could travel from National Highway 14B, across An Binh Bridge to Dai Loc B area, across Song Thu Bridge into Duy Xuyen district, and join National Highway 14H at the intersection leading to My Son Sanctuary.
From the project site intersecting with Provincial Road 609 to the border with National Highway 14B, there is a small bridge at Km3+428. The substructure has been completed with pier T1, abutments M1 and M2. The girders to be placed on the piers and abutments were cast long ago, and are only waiting for the approach road to be built before installation can begin. A very important item is the An Binh bridge spanning the Vu Gia River, connecting Zone B (Dai Minh commune) with Dai Quang commune.
Engineer Pham Thanh Hanh, an executive officer of the Quang Nam Provincial Project Management Board for the construction of transportation infrastructure projects (the investor), said that for the An Binh bridge, the bridge deck of 19 out of 19 spans has been completed. The cantilever casting of girders on piers T8 and T9 has been finished. In addition, pier T10 has reached 10 out of 11 segments, with 2 out of 2 girder blocks cast on scaffolding; the T7-T8 end spans on the southern bank have been joined.

At the An Binh bridge construction site, engineer Tran Van Hung, an employee of Thanh Tung Co., Ltd., shared that the bridge has main span piers including T7, T8, T9, T10, and T11; with pier T9 being the central pier. "Regarding block K11, also known as the balanced cantilever block of pier T10, we expect to complete the casting by April 14th," engineer Hung said.
Currently, the An Binh bridge still has an important task to complete: joining the northern bank's main span and joining the middle span. The projected date for the full bridge joining (middle span) on April 28th is entirely feasible.
Continue to resolve the issues.
To date, Dai Loc has handed over the construction site to the investor with a total length of 3.2/3.93km, equivalent to 81%.

Reportedly, the district has selected a contractor and will soon begin construction of a resettlement area to accommodate households completely displaced in Dai Quang commune. In Dai Minh commune, the selection of a contractor for the resettlement area for 16 households completely displaced has also been completed.
Engineer Phan Dinh Cong, the project commander of Thai Duong Construction Co., Ltd., said that the unit is currently constructing the guardrail of An Binh bridge and backfilling the access road, a project on the section from kilometer 0+430 to kilometer 1+037.
The aforementioned nearly 1km section of the route, located in Dai Minh commune, has had its land handed over. The contractor plans to lay asphalt concrete on the bridge deck by June 30, 2024; sections where land has been handed over will also strive to complete asphalt paving by June 30, 2024.

The investor has set out a construction plan with specific timelines. Accordingly, the An Binh bridge will be joined on April 28, 2024. By May 30, 2024, the contractor will complete the K98 earth embankment for the sections where the land has been handed over (except for sections requiring weak soil treatment). By June 30, 2024, asphalt concrete paving will be completed for the sections where the land has been handed over and for the An Binh bridge.
Specifically, if the site is fully cleared and handed over before June 30th of this year, the investor will urge the contractor to complete the entire project before March 24th, 2025.
Therefore, the necessary and urgent tasks at this time are to resolve the remaining technical infrastructure issues (such as the Mobifone substation); the impact of the animal feed processing plant; and the construction and resettlement of the people…
