Although it is called the Tien Pagoda Festival, this is a festival for the entire Phu Nghia Commune relic complex. The Tien Pagoda Festival has existed for a long time and is now famous inside and outside the province. In 2024, the Tien Pagoda Festival will be held at the provincial level. From the first day of the festival, many tourists have come to attend. Ms. Vu Huyen Chi, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: When I learned that the Tien Pagoda Festival was held at the provincial level, on the 4th day of Tet, my family and I came to worship and visit the pagoda. This place truly has a charming landscape that attracts tourists. I will definitely come back to explore this large and majestic relic complex.

As a native of Lac Thuy who married in Hai Phong , Ms. Giang My arranges to visit her hometown every year during Tet, which is also the festival of Tien Pagoda. The opening ceremony takes place for 3 days, from February 12 to 14, 2024 (ie January 3, 4, 5, Giap Thin year) with many rich and diverse cultural, sports and folk games such as: crossbow shooting competition, tug of war, stick pushing, volleyball exchange; spring fair; folk art exchange program, performance of traditional musical instruments, Muong gong art, folk singing, Chau Van and organizing performances of the practice of the Mother Goddess worship of Tam Phu... After the opening ceremony, the festival continues to take place for 3 months (from January to March of the lunar calendar).

Coming to the opening ceremony of Tien Pagoda, visitors can witness and participate in the traditional festival of the Muong people with its own unique identity. This is the biggest festival of Lac Thuy land. At the beginning of the official opening ceremony, visitors can admire the brilliant colors and vibrant atmosphere of 3 processions from 3 locations. The first is the procession of Trinh Temple, the second is the procession of Mau Temple and the third is the procession of Trung Temple. Each procession is covered with flags with 2 rows of majestic and majestic eight-treasures, the bustling eight-tone troupe in the flowing water melody, the grandeur and far-reaching sound of gong sets, the fun and heroic performance of the four sacred animals, and the crowds of people coming to the festival.

Following the resounding gong sounds of Muong Lac Thuy land, visitors can visit and worship the relic complex of Dong Tien - Chua Tien - Mau Dam Da; the gods worshiped are To Mau Au Co, Tam Vi Tan Vien and Tu Vi Thanh Nuong. According to 10 royal decrees still preserved by the dynasties, the gods are all conferred the title of Thuong Dang Than. The decree allows Nhuong Lao commune (now Phu Nghia commune) to be respected and worshiped. The relic complex of Tien pagoda has 20 relic sites, including many types such as cultural history, archeology, landscapes..., this relic complex is located in the valley of Lao Noi and Lao Ngoai villages, surrounded by 2 mountain ranges stretching like 2 giant dragons wanting to reach the blue sky. Coming here, visitors seem to return to their roots, letting their souls be immersed in the clouds, sky and mountains; admiring flocks of white storks fluttering over the immense fields; Admire the graceful and charming mountain girls in Muong ethnic costumes; visit Tam Toa cave, Linh Son, Mau Thuong Ngan, Mau Long, Suoi Vang Suoi Bac, Thuy Tien... In addition to tourist attractions, visitors can also visit Co Chin cave, Ong Hoang Bay cave, Ong Hoang Muoi cave associated with legends. In particular, when visiting the relic complex, visitors will visit the scenic Tien cave with many interesting things. This is an archaeological site that was ranked as a national relic by the Ministry of Culture and Information in 1989...
