From the foot of the Nam Blang volcano, visitors can walk for about 20-30 minutes along a 1.5 km path to reach the entrance of Cave C9. The cave is nearly 217 m long and about 20 m deep, with two natural entrances. The northern entrance is a sinkhole 35-40 m wide and 7-8 m deep, while the southern entrance is smaller, about 25 m in diameter and 3-4 m deep, creating a spectacular entrance for exploration .

Located near an eruption source, the interior of cave C9 is wide, high, and circular in cross-section, gradually widening from south to north. The cooled lava flows, hidden among layers of basalt rock, create a pristine, mysterious landscape, like a sedimentary painting of time.

Inside, visitors can admire countless rock formations and volcanic bombs – vivid traces of lava flows. Having weathered over millions of years and been affected by the elements, Cave C9 possesses a unique beauty that is both majestic and pristine.

Visitors are not allowed to explore Cave C9 on their own but must be guided by designated staff or tour guides and experts. This is to protect the area and ensure the safety of visitors.
