In late August 2023, a delegation from Binh Thuan province, led by Mr. Mai Kieu – Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, visited Nam Cat Tien National Park (Tan Phu district, Dong Nai province) to share experiences on forest management and protection. During their visit, the delegation was introduced to and experienced the breathtaking beauty of the pristine natural forest.

According to the leaders of Cat Tien National Park, the park currently covers an area of over 71,187 hectares and is under the management of the General Department of Forestry, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The South Cat Tien forest is located in the three provinces of Dong Nai, Lam Dong, and Binh Phuoc, approximately 150 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. The park is characterized by its humid tropical lowland forest with diverse and abundant flora and fauna. Notably, the Cat Tien Nature Museum, located within the park's administrative and service area, will be an ideal destination for tourists. It preserves, displays, and introduces the biodiversity values of Cat Tien National Park. With a collection of over 120 wood specimens, 100 fish specimens (preserved in their original form for research purposes), 500 insect specimens, nearly 20 bat specimens, and 10 specimens of mammals such as rhinoceroses, gaur, and black-footed langurs, this will be a place to provide useful knowledge about the diverse world of animals for those interested in research.
