Chicken eggs with QR codes
Recognizing the trend towards clean food, Hoang Van Company boldly invested over 80 billion VND to build an egg-laying chicken farm in Hoang Vien village, Le Ninh commune. Spanning 10 hectares, the farm operates using a modern, closed-loop production line entirely imported from Denmark.
However, the path to entrepreneurship is not a bed of roses. In the early days, due to not fully mastering the technical processes and lacking practical experience, the company faced many difficulties such as disease outbreaks, high mortality rates, low egg production, and uncertain market demand.

Mr. Hoang Van Hoa, Director of Hoang Van Company, said: “The initial phase was really stressful. At times, we faced the risk of having to stop because the investment costs were too high and the results were not as expected. But recognizing this as a long-term direction, we were determined to persevere, adjusting the process, learning as we went to best control the entire production chain.”
Unlike the smelly and dusty scenes of traditional poultry farms, Hoang Van Company's enclosed poultry farm operates smoothly thanks to its automation system. Here, a flock of 90,000 chickens is cared for in a strictly biosecure environment.
Pham Dinh Nghiem, a worker at the farm, said: “Previously, manual labor was very hard, and the chickens often got sick due to the unstable environment. Since we got the machinery, the work has become much easier; we just have to monitor the system. Our income has also become more stable and much higher than before.”
Thanks to strict control over everything from breeding stock and feed sources to vaccination schedules, the farm supplies nearly 80,000 eggs to the market every day, generating revenue of over 150 million VND per day.

A standout feature of the product is its application of technology to traceability. Each pack of Hoang Van chicken eggs is labeled with a QR code. With a simple scan using a phone, customers can check details about the production date, expiration date, and the VietGAHP-certified farming process. This not only helps affirm the brand's reputation but also builds absolute trust with consumers.
Mr. Nguyen Van Minh from Dong Ha ward said: “My family prioritizes health and safety, so we always choose clean food. With Hoang Van chicken eggs, clear origin and consistent quality are the two biggest reasons why we feel completely secure using them daily.”
Towards green agriculture
What sets Hoang Van Company apart is its circular economy mindset. Beyond simply selling eggs, the company has invested in a modern, automated chicken manure processing system, transforming all livestock waste into high-quality bio-fertilizer. This solution aims to thoroughly address environmental pollution, eliminate the characteristic odors of traditional livestock farms, and generate additional revenue from organic fertilizer for green agricultural production.

With its reputation gradually being established, Hoang Van Company's clean chicken eggs are now available in many clean food stores both within and outside the province. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, owner of a clean food store in Dong Ha ward, said: "Although the price is higher than regular eggs, customers really prefer Hoang Van Company's clean chicken eggs because of their freshness and the assurance of their origin. This is currently one of the best-selling items in my store."
Currently, Hoang Van chicken eggs are in the process of meeting the criteria to participate in the OCOP program. In 2026, the company plans to increase the total number of chickens to meet the demand for clean food in the market both within and outside the province.
According to Duong Quang Hung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Le Ninh commune: “The model of raising egg-laying chickens according to VietGAHP standards by Hoang Van Company is a prime example of developing livestock farming in a safe and sustainable direction. The model not only helps increase product value and reduce veterinary medicine costs but also limits disease outbreaks in the chicken flock, aligning with the local agricultural restructuring orientation. The commune plans to develop the company's egg products into an OCOP (One Commune One Product) product in 2026.”
