Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, Chairwoman of Hoi An Commune People's Council Nguyen Thi Minh Kieu awarded a certificate of merit to the collective with outstanding achievements in building Ba Tiem bridge.
Delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the bridge.
Implementing the policy of concreting bridges and roads launched by the locality, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoi An commune coordinated with the Bridge Construction Mobilization Committee to mobilize people to contribute over 455 million VND to build the bridge.
The fund was used to build Ba Tiem bridge, 22m long, 3.2m wide, 4-ton capacity, costing more than 250 million VND and 250 working days; the rest was used to repair the tilted and collapsed road section.
On this occasion, Hoi An Commune People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in bridge construction.
