Ba Tiem Bridge inaugurated

On August 13th, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoi An commune (An Giang province) held a ceremony to inaugurate the Ba Tiem bridge - a project celebrating the first Congress of the Hoi An Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Provincial Party Committee member, Party Secretary, and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Hoi An commune, Nguyen Thi Minh Kieu, presented certificates of commendation to the collective for their outstanding achievements in the construction of Ba Tiem bridge.

Representatives performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the bridge.

Following the local initiative to pave bridges and roads with concrete, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoi An commune, in coordination with the Bridge Construction Campaign Committee, mobilized the people to contribute over 455 million VND to build the bridge.

The funds were used to construct the Ba Tiệm bridge, which is 22m long, 3.2m wide, and has a load capacity of 4 tons, costing over 250 million VND and requiring 250 man-days of labor; the remaining funds were used to repair the tilted and subsided sections of the road.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Hoi An commune awarded certificates of commendation to one collective and five individuals for their outstanding achievements in bridge construction.
