Inauguration of Sharing Bridge No. 39

(CT) - On June 23, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thoi Long ward coordinated the inauguration ceremony and put into use the Sharing Bridge No. 39 (8 Bells Bridge) in Thoi Hoa 1 area.

The 39th Sharing Bridge is a reinforced concrete structure, 18m long and 4m wide, with a total construction cost of over 210 million VND and 270 man-days of labor, funded through social mobilization. Of this amount, the "Spread Love Ho Chi Minh City" group contributed 130 million VND; the remaining amount was contributed by local people and philanthropists.

On the occasion of the bridge's inauguration, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward presented 40 gifts to disadvantaged people in the ward (each gift worth 300,000 VND).
