Cooperative societies participated in promoting their products at a conference organized by the Can Tho City Cooperative Union.
Along with the increase in number, the collective economic sector and cooperatives in the city have gradually strengthened their internal capacity and innovated their organizational and operational methods to adapt flexibly to the new context. Particularly noteworthy are cooperatives operating in the agricultural sector, such as Khiet Tam Cooperative in Thanh An commune, specializing in high-quality rice production; and Hung Phu Aquaculture Cooperative in Cu Lao Dung commune, specializing in aquaculture and seafood processing... which have effectively provided input supplies and established stable product outlets for their members.
From now until the end of 2026, the City Cooperative Alliance, in coordination with relevant departments and agencies, will strengthen support for cooperatives in accessing resources and policies for infrastructure investment, from production and harvesting to processing and product preservation. This will focus on assisting cooperatives producing key agricultural products such as rice, seafood, and fruit to participate in large-scale development projects. Furthermore, it will enhance trade promotion activities and connect supply and demand between producers, cooperatives, and consuming businesses within and outside the city, contributing to the effective and sustainable development of cooperatives.
