– On May 15th, the Bac Xa Border Guard Station; the Veterans Association; the Youth Union of Bac Giang province; the Women's Association; the Youth Union of the Police Emulation Cluster; the Youth Union of the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Bank, Lang Son branch; Duc-Tin-Hung Private Enterprise; and Song Quang Rural Development Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (Lang Son) jointly organized the inauguration of the road leading to border markers 1296/1 and 1296/2 .

The road leading to border markers 1296/1 and 1296/2 was constructed by the Bac Xa Border Guard Post from April 2nd to May 15th, 2023, with a total length of nearly 360 meters. During construction, sections with steep slopes and large rocks required the use of excavators and rock-breaking machines, taking dozens of man-days to widen the road from 3-5 meters. Some sections were lowered by 8-10 meters compared to the road surface, requiring the removal of nearly 200 cubic meters of earth and rocks. The project was completed at a total cost of nearly 320 million VND. Contributions included the Veterans Association, the Youth Union of Bac Giang province; the Women's Association, the Youth Union of the Police Emulation Cluster; the Youth Union of the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Bank, Lang Son branch; and Duc-Tin-Hung Private Enterprise. Song Quang Rural Development Construction Investment Joint Stock Company sponsored 100 million VND and 5 of ready-mix concrete; Bac Xa Border Guard Station contributed over 100 million VND; officers and soldiers of the station, militia from 3 communes: Bac Xa, Kien Moc, and Binh Xa, and the people of Bac Xa commune participated with 380 days of labor.

Representatives of Song Quang Rural Development Construction Investment Joint Stock Company presented a symbolic check for financial support for the construction of the Bac Xa Border Guard Station.

The Bac Xa Border Guard Post is responsible for managing and protecting 33.197 km of the national border, with 40 border markers. From the beginning of 2023 to the present, the post has built 5 access roads to the border markers, with a total length of nearly 750 m, supported by 345 million VND in funding, 11 tons of cement, 5 m³ of ready-mix concrete, and over 885 man-days of labor from officers, soldiers, and people in the communes of Bac Xa, Kien Moc, and Binh Xa. To date, the unit has concreted 24 out of 40 access roads to border markers, with 16 markers remaining unconcretized, totaling approximately 3,758 m in length. Many of these markers are high, long, and difficult to access, posing safety risks during border patrols and inspections.

Looking ahead, the Provincial Border Guard Command hopes to continue receiving the attention and cooperation of all levels, sectors, agencies, units, and companies and businesses, with the spirit of always focusing on the border and accompanying the Border Guard Command in building and firmly protecting the nation's borders.
