Lumi Smart Factory inaugurated

On the morning of April 20th, Lumi Vietnam Joint Stock Company held the inauguration ceremony for Lumi Smart Factory – a factory producing IoT/Smarthome devices – at Thang Long Industrial Park, Vinh Phuc (Binh Xuyen). Attending the ceremony were Mr. Bui The Duy, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Minister of Science and Technology , along with representatives from various departments, agencies, and businesses both within and outside the province.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate Lumi Smart Factory.

Lumi Smart Factory is Vietnam's first high-tech, large-scale "Make In Vietnam" IoT/smarthome equipment manufacturing plant, which commenced construction in early 2022 with a scale of 6,000m2 and a total investment of over 100 billion VND.

The factory boasts the most modern SMT and DIP production lines in Southeast Asia, with an annual designed capacity of up to 1,000,000 smart home devices, 500,000 lighting devices, and millions of other IoT devices per year. In addition, Lumi Smart Factory has expanded its business to include ODM, OEM, and EMS services for domestic and international partners.

Delegates visited the IoT/Smarthome equipment manufacturing plant of Lumi Vietnam Joint Stock Company in Thang Long Industrial Park, Vinh Phuc .

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy affirmed that the Ministry of Science and Technology always accompanies Lumi in particular and businesses in general in connecting with investment funds and markets, supporting intellectual property-related work such as registration, protection, strategic guidance, exploitation and development of intellectual property assets, and issues related to standards, measurement and quality... Especially for intellectual property assets whose protection period has expired.

Simultaneously, we are committed to partnering with Lumi in seeking advanced technologies worldwide, supporting connections with technology experts through Vietnam's science and technology representative network abroad, thereby helping Lumi and other businesses achieve sustainable growth.

With this factory, Lumi embarks on a journey to realize its new mission, not only meeting the needs of customers using IoT/smartphone products but also laying the foundation for a new era, gradually realizing its aspiration to become a source of pride for Vietnam in the field of IoT on the international stage.
