Workers' aspirations - Faith in the Party

The "Workers' Aspirations Forum - Trust in the Party in 2025," organized by the Tay Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor on October 1, 2025, served as a "bridge" between the Party, the Trade Union organization, and union members, workers, and employees. More than just a place to listen to their thoughts and aspirations, the forum affirmed the unwavering faith of the working class in the Party's leadership, while simultaneously spreading the spirit of innovation, creativity, and the aspiration for progress in the new era.

Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union Tran Le Duy emphasized: “The forum is organized to create a direct ‘bridge’ for exchange and feedback; to listen to the thoughts, aspirations, reflections, and suggestions of workers and trade union officials. Through the forum, delegates can convey their wishes and aspirations to be included in the Draft Document of the First Congress of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, and the Document of the 14th National Congress of the Party; contributing to further deepening the close relationship between the Party and the working class, affirming the confidence of trade union officials, members, and workers in the Party's leadership in the new era - the era of national progress.”

The forum not only served as a platform for union members and workers to express their thoughts and aspirations, but also clearly demonstrated political trust and the close bond between the Party, workers, and trade union organizations. In a frank and open atmosphere, many delegates shared the advantages and difficulties from their practical experiences at the grassroots level, and offered suggestions for policy solutions, building a better working environment, improving living standards, skills, and digital literacy for workers.

There is a consensus that, in the new era, workers need to be fully equipped with knowledge, skills, and industrial work ethics to avoid falling behind. Simultaneously, the working environment must be safe, fair, and inspiring; businesses need to work alongside workers in training, career development, and ensuring social security and welfare.

The "Workers' Aspirations - Faith in the Party" Forum is not only a space for exchange and dialogue, but also arouses the aspirations for advancement, the spirit of responsibility, and the unwavering faith of workers in the revolutionary cause. Heartfelt sharing from practical experience shows that today's workers are not only concerned with income and employment, but also desire to learn, train, improve their skills, and become a knowledge-based workforce, meeting the demands of development in the Industry 4.0 era.

From aspiration to action - the voice of the workers.

At the forum, outstanding workers and trade union members shared insightful perspectives on their work at enterprises, their experiences, and their aspirations for the future, so that workers can have more opportunities for development.

Mr. Tran Anh Tu, a member of the grassroots trade union at Can Sports Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Truong Mit commune), shared: “In today's labor environment, with the application of many advanced and modern machines and equipment in production, to avoid falling behind and to adapt quickly to the new environment, workers need to equip themselves with the necessary knowledge and skills. First and foremost, they need to study and train to understand the production process, the operating principles of new machinery and equipment, continuously update themselves on technological advancements in their field of work, and always have a lifelong learning mindset to adapt to change. Workers also need to continue to hone skills such as: using computers, using production management software; operating automated equipment, applying artificial intelligence (AI); communication, teamwork; problem-solving, creative thinking; time management, labor discipline,... In addition, workers need to cultivate industrial work habits and attitudes, uphold a high sense of responsibility and proactiveness.” "Learning, not being afraid of change, discipline, and professionalism are essential to adapt to an international integration environment; basic foreign language skills are also required."

With a favorable working environment, workers can develop their abilities and contribute to the development of the enterprise.

Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Huong, Vice President of the Trade Union at Hoang Minh Water Joint Stock Company (Duc Lap commune), emphasized that the working environment is a crucial factor in helping workers maximize their potential and sense of responsibility.

According to Ms. Huong, a workplace environment must encompass three elements: safety, engagement, and inspiration. It's a place where employees are guaranteed safety and health; where they are recognized, respected, and treated fairly; and where they have opportunities for learning and professional development. Hoang Minh Water Joint Stock Company aims to become a workplace that is "attractive and something to be proud of," with strategic business plans always aligned with ESG standards – sustainable development, building a culture of sharing, and encouraging innovation.

This is also the factor that helped Hoang Minh Water Joint Stock Company proudly win the “Outstanding Enterprise for Employees” award presented by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor,” Ms. Huong said.

According to Ngo Truong Huy, Chairman of the Trade Union at Thu Duc - Long An Centrifugal Concrete Joint Stock Company (Ben Luc commune), in the current context of digital transformation, businesses paying attention to training programs and equipping workers with digital skills is no longer an option but a mandatory factor if they want sustainable development.

Therefore, the company focuses on organizing training courses that combine theory with practice, integrating instruction on the use of modern software and machinery right at the workplace and production area, helping workers to be both skilled and proficient in new technologies.

Meanwhile, Dang Thi Truc Ly, Chairwoman of the Trade Union at Federal Bay Industrial Joint Stock Company (Gia Loc Ward), expressed concern about developing Party members among workers. According to her, the number of Party members from the working class is currently small, while this is a large force with a strong desire to contribute. She proposed diversifying methods of Party propaganda, organizing Party awareness training classes on weekends, and setting targets for developing Party members from workers, etc. “When workers have the opportunity to join the ranks of the Party, it is not only a personal honor but also a motivation to commit to and contribute long-term to the enterprise and the locality,” Ms. Ly stated.

Attending the forum, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Nguyen Thanh Hai, acknowledged the legitimate proposals, initiatives, and aspirations of the workers and trade union officials. The province will continue to improve mechanisms and policies to better care for the material and spiritual lives of workers; ensure a safe and civilized working environment; create conditions for workers to study, hone their skills, improve digital skills, promote initiatives and technical improvements, and make practical contributions to the province's development in the 2025-2030 period.
