Starting from a small workshop with a modest capital of 500 million VND, after two decades of perseverance with the philosophy "Reputation is gold - Customers are benefactors," Gia Linh has risen to become a leading company in the field of livestock equipment, making a significant contribution to the industrialization and modernization of Vietnam's livestock industry.

In Phu Tho province, Gia Linh Production and Service Company Limited (Gia Linh Company) recently held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary (2006-2026).

This is a special milestone for Gia Linh to look back on the journey so far, appreciate the values we have built, and also an opportunity for the company's leadership to express gratitude to all the people who have silently accompanied and contributed to making Gia Linh what it is today.

The journey of honesty and sincerity.

In 2006, when the Vietnamese economy was just beginning its transformation and integration into the global economy, and the concept of "industrialization of livestock farming" was still quite new, in many rural areas, farmers were still using makeshift methods like chopping potatoes and weeds to feed their pigs, and people were still accustomed to small-scale, fragmented production... that's when Gia Linh Company was established.

With a meager capital of only 500 million VND, Hoang Viet Hung, a young man in his early 30s, after working for various foreign livestock companies and joint venture animal feed companies, decided to strike out on his own with a grand aspiration: to transform the face of Vietnam's livestock industry with high-quality, affordable equipment manufactured by Vietnamese people.

Back then, when the livestock industry began to open up, starting with small, low-slung sows, we began importing high-yield pig breeds from leading global corporations in Germany, France, the United States, Canada, and other countries. Animal feed was also industrial feed, consisting of concentrated feed and mixed feed.

Pigs no longer lie down to eat amidst piles of manure and garbage, and chickens are no longer raised in bamboo cages but have begun to appear in farms equipped with modern facilities and automatic feeders and waterers.

However, it's also difficult to accept the fact that Vietnam's livestock industry still has to import 100% of its livestock, from breeding stock and feed ingredients to farming equipment. Therefore, the cost of livestock production is sky-high. Importing one foreign sow, along with tons of farm equipment, can sometimes cost hundreds of millions of dong.

In that import package, we don't even produce livestock, corn, soybeans, etc., domestically, and are dependent on multinational corporations. But the most absurd thing is that even the pig pens have to be imported? That's why young people like Hoang Viet Hung can't help but think about it and have lost sleep for many nights.

But manufacturing domestic livestock equipment wasn't simple either. At that time, Vietnam's mechanical engineering industry lacked many things; iron and steel had to be imported from China, Thailand, etc.; the workers' skills were poor; and agricultural mechanization in general, including livestock farming, was neglected after state-owned livestock farms gradually disappeared.

From the initial overwhelming difficulties, Gia Linh had to grope its way forward step by step. It was hard, but it was a must; starting small, then gradually expanding, from simple to complex equipment, from rudimentary to automated. As the path became clearer, Gia Linh gradually established its position in the livestock industry with a consistent philosophy: "Reputation is gold – Customers are benefactors."

Mr. Hoang Viet Hung, the company's director, emotionally recalled: "Success is not a destination, but a journey. And Gia Linh's 20-year journey has been written by honest and sincere hearts."

I still vividly remember the early days when the company was small and the conditions were extremely difficult. Those were truly challenging times, but it was precisely in those circumstances that the spirit of unity, sharing, and never giving up shaped our identity, the identity of Gia Linh.

Many of my colleagues here have been with me since the early days. And today, I can proudly say that Gia Linh is not just a workplace, but a second home for many people.”

From just a few individuals, Gia Linh has now created stable jobs for nearly 200 employees. Each person has their own circumstances, family, and dreams. "Contributing to bringing stability, confidence, and a future to my colleagues in the company is what makes me happiest and proudest," Mr. Hoang Viet Hung emphasized.

The head of the company expressed his gratitude to all the staff and employees of Gia Linh – the unsung heroes who have prioritized product quality, considering each product leaving the factory not just as a commodity, but as a reflection of the company's reputation and honor.

But more importantly, according to him, it is the loyal and steadfast customers who have been with Gia Linh for the past two decades that have kept the company alive through all the ups and downs, at times when it seemed impossible to get back on its feet.

If livestock farms didn't trust and use the feeders and waterers produced by our company, the Gia Linh livestock equipment brand wouldn't exist today. They not only trust us, but they've used our products repeatedly, installing them in multiple projects over many years.

Each customer, each livestock farm, gives Gia Linh the strength to move forward.

Awards such as "Best Livestock Equipment Manufacturer" and "Outstanding Livestock Equipment Manufacturer Award," presented by prestigious international organizations, are not only a source of pride but also a motivation for Gia Linh to continue innovating and developing.

An indispensable link in Vietnam's livestock industry.

According to Mr. Pham Kim Dang, Deputy Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Gia Linh is one of the few domestic enterprises that can independently manufacture livestock housing equipment. And it's no exaggeration to say that over the past 20 years, Gia Linh has made and continues to make significant contributions to the industrialization of the country's livestock industry.

On the regional and, more broadly, Asian livestock map, Vietnam is a green dot that no major livestock corporation in the world would want to ignore when seeking cooperation and business partnerships. With its leading pig and duck populations, producing 28-30 million tons of industrial animal feed, and raising 25-25 million pigs, Vietnam has tremendous opportunities to lead the global livestock industry.

But Vietnam cannot continue to rely solely on contract farming, nor can it continue to import breeding stock and equipment. And so Gia Linh emerged, contributing a small part, adding another diligent star to the Vietnamese livestock industry.

To industrialize livestock farming, the first step is to industrialize the facilities and waste management. Livestock farming, especially pig farming, is not just a production sector; it's an industry with a closed chain from breeding stock - feed industry - housing equipment - slaughtering and processing lines - and finally, the distribution system.

Gia Linh not only contributes to farms and large corporations domestically, but also exports equipment to farms in the region, including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and many ASEAN countries, with annual sales of millions of US dollars and recognition from the international market.

“And that is why Gia Linh’s booth attracts a large number of visitors at international livestock exhibitions (Vietstock, Ildex) held in Vietnam. In just the past five years, Gia Linh has been honored twice as the best manufacturer of livestock equipment, making a significant contribution to the development of Vietnam’s livestock industry,” Mr. Pham Kim Dang emphasized.

Today, Gia Linh's products have gradually replaced imported goods, offering comparable quality but at a more affordable price for Vietnamese livestock farmers.

Gia Linh has a system of factories, production facilities, and representative offices stretching from North to South, along with a team of professional staff and workers, and increasingly modern machinery, technology, and techniques.

And beyond just manufacturing equipment, Gia Linh has been a pioneer in providing comprehensive livestock equipment and solutions, ranging from: project consulting and planning/design support; construction and installation of barn systems; cage frames, automatic feeding systems, silos; cooling and air conditioning systems for barns; temperature control systems; biogas systems and post-biogas wastewater treatment meeting QCVN 62-MT standards; and biosecurity, disinfection, deodorization, and sterilization systems.

Over the past two decades, Gia Linh has continuously innovated, created, and integrated, bringing modern technology to Vietnam. Thousands of tons of equipment have been shipped. Tens of thousands of farms have been transformed thanks to Gia Linh's partnership.

From small-scale projects to high-tech farms, Gia Linh has contributed to shaping a green, safe, and sustainable livestock industry. Quality is not just words, but is proven by the trust of leading partners such as the "giants" of the livestock industry - CP, Japfa, Cargill, Dabaco, Sunjin, CJ, Greenfeed…

Spanning over 12,000 square meters, the Gia Linh factory (located in Phu Tho province) today stands as a modern production complex. Each section is a crucial link: from the plastics section, the automatic mesh welding section, the fan section, the paper section, the trough section, the mechanical section… to robotic arms and high-tech cutting machines that ensure precision in every cut. Each product, each project is the culmination of engineering, creativity, and trust.

Investing in technology, manufacturing, services, and corporate culture.

Like a young man in his twenties, Gia Linh is confidently embarking on a new path. In the context of an increasingly competitive livestock equipment market with ever-higher demands for quality and more reasonable prices, according to Mr. Hoang Viet Hung, Gia Linh naturally cannot ignore any of these three factors if it doesn't want to be left behind.

With product quality as the foundation, reputation as the core value, and people as the central element, Gia Linh is committed to continuing to invest in technology, improve production capacity, perfect services, and build a corporate culture so that the company not only develops strongly but also becomes a responsible enterprise to the community and society.

First and foremost, the company is promoting technological innovation by researching and producing highly automated products, enhancing durability and adaptability to climate change, and supporting large-scale, biosecure modern livestock farming models.

Furthermore, the company provides long-term customer support through technical consulting, after-sales service, warranty, and operational assistance. This is the key factor that has helped Gia Linh maintain trust and loyalty over the years.

Ultimately, the company determined that it needed to provide livestock farms with a comprehensive solution package, meaning Gia Linh would not only sell individual products but also offer a synchronized solution from farm design and equipment to operation and maintenance, helping customers improve long-term efficiency.

For Gia Linh, customer satisfaction is our greatest happiness. Building on today's solid foundation, Gia Linh is committed to always standing by our customers and together writing the story of a sustainable, efficient, green, and environmentally friendly future for livestock farming.
