"

Labor Hero Thai Huong, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of TH Group, delivered a profound speech at the meeting between General Secretary and President To Lam and a delegation of outstanding businesspeople from VCCI and the Vietnam Private Business Association on Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day.

The Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of TH Group emphasized that digital transformation is not simply about applying technology to socio-economic activities, but about establishing a new, advanced, and modern method of production. She called on entrepreneurs and the entire society to embrace this aspiration, transforming dreams and ambitions into aspirations so that they can effectively contribute to the development of the country.

The Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of TH Group also proposed developing specific policies for each sector, especially agriculture. She emphasized the importance of the forestry economy, which concentrates a large labor force but still faces poverty, particularly in border areas. According to Ms. Thai Huong, integrating farmers into a closed value chain not only helps alleviate poverty but also promotes sustainable development right in their homeland.

In the context of a global economy shifting towards sustainable development models, Ms. Thai Huong affirmed that all economic sectors, especially agriculture, need to adhere to green economy, knowledge-based economy, and circular economy models. This approach aims to reduce production costs, increase labor productivity, and achieve international quality standards. She called on businesses and the government to cooperate in building internationally recognized national brands for agricultural products.

Besides economic development, Ms. Thai Huong also emphasized the importance of creating a safe and transparent legal environment. She suggested that appropriate and non-overlapping legal policies are needed to create the most favorable conditions for businesses to develop. This will help all entrepreneurs and businesses, both domestic and foreign, have the opportunity to contribute to the national economy.

Aspiration to elevate the stature of the Vietnamese people.

One notable point in Ms. Thai Huong's speech was her expression of concern about the height and stature of Vietnamese people.

Ms. Thai Huong expressed that, in order for our nation to enter a new era, an era of national progress, in addition to economic development, we need to pay attention to "rising" in height, or in other words, the stature of the Vietnamese people. She provided information that currently, the average height of Vietnamese people ranks 15th from the bottom in the world, a figure worth reflecting upon. Over the years, Vietnam has achieved many successes in improving the nutritional status of its people, but many nutritional problems still exist, especially among preschool and school-aged children.

A heartfelt speech by Ms. Thai Huong: Aspiration for transformation and sustainable development.

"I believe that a law, specifically a School Nutrition Law, is needed to establish standards for school meals, thereby protecting children and improving the stature and health of future generations. Science has proven that approximately 86% of a person's maximum height is achieved before the age of 12, a crucial period for the maximum development of stature, physical strength, and intelligence. Therefore, caring for children's nutrition during this period, especially school nutrition, is extremely urgent, including the improvement of mechanisms and policies," emphasized the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TH Group.

According to Ms. Thai Huong, providing proper nutrition for preschool and school-aged children is crucial to ensuring their optimal physical and intellectual development.

Ms. Thai Huong's speech conveyed powerful messages about the aspiration for sustainable development of Vietnamese entrepreneurs. She not only highlighted the role of entrepreneurs in innovating production methods but also called for unity and cooperation with the entire nation to overcome challenges and thrive in the new era. This is precisely the spirit that General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized when he expressed his wish for entrepreneurs to continue playing the role of "leading birds" guiding the economy towards the future.
