On June 6, the program "German Career Guidance Bus" stopped in Dong Nai , in a series of journeys connecting and providing career guidance to Vietnamese students about opportunities to study and work in Germany.

This is an activity organized by the German Embassy in Hanoi in coordination with the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, within the framework of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany. The event aims to expand cooperation in the fields of vocational training, education and the labor market between the two countries.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Michaela Baur, Director of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), said that the program gives Vietnamese people a more comprehensive view of Germany, especially career development opportunities through education and vocational training.
According to Ms. Baur, the “German career guidance bus” is not only a place to provide information, but also an experiential space, helping students access vocational training models according to German standards.
“We also have a career vehicle with rich content, looking for opportunities right from Vietnam, as a stepping stone for a global career journey,” Ms. Michaela Baur shared.

At this stop, the career guidance bus attracted thousands of students from inside and outside the province to attend. They were shared with German experts about the labor market and the groups of occupations that are lacking human resources. In addition, there was information about German language proficiency requirements, admission procedures and long-term settlement policies.
Nguyen Van Huy, a student at Lilama 2 International College of Technology, said that he has long been interested in going to Germany to study a trade. The program helps him directly access opportunities, study paths, and documents as well as policies to go to Germany.
Trinh Thi Thuy, a student at Hac Dich High School (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), said: "I never thought I could go to Germany through vocational training. My family is not well off, but if I can study and work in Germany, I will try to learn the language from now on to get a scholarship and reduce the burden on my parents."

As planned, the “German career guidance bus” will continue its journey to many provinces and cities across the country until November, aiming to help Vietnamese students better understand vocational study and job search opportunities in Germany.
