The online newspaper Dan Tri and the newspaper Lao Dong va Xa Hoi (Labor and Social Affairs) have been merged to form the newspaper Dan Tri.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ha Xuan Tung, Director of the Personnel and Organization Department ( Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs ), announced the decisions on the reorganization of the two media agencies into Dan Tri newspaper from November 1, 2023; the regulations on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Dan Tri newspaper, as well as decisions on personnel matters.

Accordingly, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Editor-in-Chief of the online newspaper Dan Tri, has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper Dan Tri.

Dan Tri Newspaper has three Deputy Editors-in-Chief: Mr. Nguyen Xuan Toan, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang, and Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang.

At the ceremony, Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung stated: "Dan Tri Newspaper must aim for three goals: people's livelihood, people's knowledge, and people's sentiment; contributing to fulfilling the noble mission of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs as the embodiment of compassion and humanity, caring for social issues."

Minister Dao Ngoc Dung expressed his wish that the newspaper should first focus on fulfilling its functions and duties well, adhering to the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. In particular, he emphasized the function of propaganda, education , and encouragement; inspiring a desire to contribute, and working towards the goal of ensuring that every citizen has a better life, "leaving no one behind."

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam assessed this as an important event for the press.

"To achieve this result, the Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs have been very determined, choosing a solution that harmonizes tradition with modernity, while also incorporating the 30-year tradition of the Labour and Social Affairs newspaper, the Family and Children magazine, and the Dan Tri online newspaper."

With its newly assigned mission, Dan Tri newspaper certainly has great opportunities and responsibilities to effectively fulfill its function and nhiệm vụ as the mouthpiece of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, caring for vulnerable groups, those in difficult circumstances, people who have contributed to the revolution, children, etc.,” Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Lam confidently stated.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam hopes that, in addition to reflecting and resolving people's social issues, the newspaper will also provide knowledge to the people so that those who benefit can have a better life.

Responding to the directives of Minister Dao Ngoc Dung, Editor-in-Chief Pham Tuan Anh affirmed that the newspaper's staff will continue to strive tirelessly to live up to the expectations and trust placed in them by the Party and State leaders, the leaders of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Central Propaganda Department, and the Ministry of Information and Communications; and will continue to promote the spirit of unity, proactiveness, boldness in thinking and acting, creativity, and professionalism to steer the Dan Tri newspaper towards new successes.
